Boston Pizza

Often very quiet but service is slow. Last time we tried to visit we sat in the lounge which had one other table seated. Three staff and after 20 minutes we still had not been approached. We left. At which point we were acknowledged and wished a great evening?!

Solid establishment in Sherwood Park. I had no problems with the service or quality at this Boston Pizza. The food was great, and they are now serving Starbucks as their coffee.
Got a chance for $ 5 personal pizzas because of their birthday deal.
Well worth it.
If you want a child friend place to go, I’d recommend this BP. And don’t forget Tuesday is cheap pasta day

Ok. So I’ll start by saying the food was decent. Usually it’s quite consistent location to location. But the service??? My lord, this was horrible. I’m actually still sitting here and complaining because we didn’t get water or ketchup or Parmesan. Ridiculous. The waiter and hostess were fighting at the door. Embarrassing. Then he APOLOGIZES for him yelling at her about her mix up. (tacky). Then we didn’t get out orders correct, kids food took forever. Just in general, bad. Don’t come to this location. Check out another one where the kids actually care about their job.

I’m not sure why I continue to go to this Boston Pizza. Today was maybe the last time. I ordered takeout through the call centre. I was told on the phone it would be ready in 20 — 25 minutes. I was at the restaurant at the 20 min mark — hoping it would be done early as it was before the lunch rush.
It wasn’t ready — and it wasn’t ready at the 25 minutes mark either (it was a salad and a kids meal).
When I asked the manager Katie about it — she said that the call center gave her a time to have it ready and they were only over it by a few minutes and asked rudely if I still wanted the food.
If it wasn’t lunch for my son, who is now going to get his lunch late, I would have cancelled the order and walked away.
Very Poor Service.

Went to boston pizza with my family for dinner tonight because we had a gift certificate that is only good at his location.
When we got there the host told us it would be 10 minutes because we required a high chair. They proceeded to sit 4 other groups of equal size without the need for a highchair white we waited.
After 25 minutes I asked how much longer it would be and was told that they had no idea because they were waiting for a table to open. I explained that I was told it would be 10 minutes and it was now 25 minutes the 3 kids behind the counter just stared at me and looked lost. I asked again how long it would be 10, 20, 45 minutes??? To which they responded ‘it will probably be while’
Well it will probably be a while before I give this boston pizza location another try. What a massive waste of time and embarrassing situation for them that i won’t even go back for a free meal.

We don’t normally visit Boston Pizza, as we find it has become over priced for the quality of food. However we received 2 «Kids Cards» (one for each of our kids), giving us 5 free kids meals (each). So we have gone a few times. The last time we visited, we were told we were only allowed to use ONE card (we used both the time before, and they even suggest on their Facebook page to use one card per child). The waitress was accommodating, and did allow us to use both cards, but we were not impressed to be told, at the beginning, that we could not use both cards. My kids didn’ teat half the meals anyway, because they don’t seem to like anything they serve on the kids menu (and my kids are NOT picky eaters).

We started dining at this location because it had plenty of room in the lounge during lunch hours. However, upon the last visit, we discovered why it had plenty of room versus other locations…
Upon receiving a meal on a plate that was not clean to begin with, the waitress was discretely given a little wave only to get her attention. When she came to the table, she rudely told my husband to never interrupt her when she is at someone else’s table ever again. Things escalated — there was no need for that — Management was not too genuinely concerned that ourselves and our employees will not be returning to that location.

Recently I had a chance to try out this Boston Pizza with my friends. Based on this visit, the place provided a great experience with only minor slips in quality.
The inside and restrooms were clean; the staff was professional and polite. The male waiter suggested specials and gave us enough time to order, checking us out every now an then without being too intrusive. We did not have to ask for water because BP provided us with a pitcher (we didn’t request it — they know what to do). The gentleman serving us also had good manners.
We ordered BP’s Perogy pizza. The pizza was large and thin crust. Classy not trashy with just enough toppings on it. The slices were perfectly sized. It was as good as it gets. No chipped silverware.
Parking lot was clean; ample space for parking. The last thing I have note here is that I hit the ground with the bottom of my car when pulling out of the parking lot — the slope is way too steep.
1 Star deducted for having appetizers served at the same time as the main course and the overly steep drive-​in.

Fantastic place, Cozy Sports Bar, Big Tables, Dinning room is great for kids

I love BP’s… grew up in the Sherwood Park’s Wye road location and am loathe to write this review… but it is time someone said something. The word I am going to use is:
SAD!
After ordering Lasagna both eat in and take out for over a year (yes my family goes there a lot!) we thought we had finally figured out how to have our baked lasagna with actual meat sauce.
We always order extra sauce.
No matter what, we have had to ask for extra sauce otherwise the lasagna inevitably arrives at the table with dry brittle noodles and one slice of cheese bubbling on top. After figuring out the extra sauce, we continue to go, until the last time, when we ordered it, didn’t receive it and then to top it all off, got charged for it.
We have also had issues with the delivery where we have been charged for items and then they aren’t in the bag.
The portions sizes are hit and a miss, sometimes you can count the fries that are on the side of your plate with two hands… or you order a full size cactus cut fries appetizer and there is 16 (yes we counted) slices. Side salads are ghastly and not worth the money.
The worst thing is the pizza sizes, when we ate at a Boston Pizza on Vancouver Island, the pizza’s were huge, full toppings and delicious. pizza at this location is lack luster, and lacking in toppings.

Wings at BP on Mar.17 not traditional Irish fare after FP folk music, joint jumpin but not as wild as Caffreys. Lots of large groups havin a great time. Try the Cactus Cuts they are pretty dang good. Over all I had a great St. Patrick day (even if I am an Orange Irish), Caffery’s brunch, Festival Place for Irish Folk music and end they evening at BP.
