What a lovely concept: A community café run by volunteers. Profits go back to the community in form of charitable donations to non-​profits!
The coffee is great and served by trained barristas, yes, they can make pretty designs on that latte of yours.
Delicious homemade baking. Throughout the day you can smell fresh muffins coming out of the oven! Creative and tasty sandwiches (pear and brie, etc.), to die for soups (dill pickle anyone?), and even Gluten Free goodies!
They even have locally made crafts for sale!!!
Check out their evening events too such as open-​mike and music nights.
I highly recommend this place.

I was a bit skeptical of this community café when I first heard about it. But now I’m a believer. This place not only serves great coffee they also serve some fantastic homemade baked goods. The volunteer staff are all fantastic and very friendly. Service is great and the atmosphere is top notch.
The only thing I don’t like is the lack of plugins for computers. There are only plugins along the north wall. So I can’t sun bathe as I work and stuff my face.
I really wish that Sherwood Park had a downtown district because this place would be better served at a location with tons of foot traffic. Nonetheless, there is ample parking and plenty of seats available in the café.
You need to stop by this place when you can.

Great place

Went in for coffee with a friend. We were both impressed. I want to go back and try the food soon.
I had a chance to stop in again and had a pannini and more coffee. The pannini was an incredible ham, cheese and apple. Totally delicious. Their coffee I found out is roasted by Intelligentsia from Chicago. I have had this somewhere before. On a par with the dear departed Java Jive roasting. Great staff. I shall return.
