Good food and friendly service. I enjoyed my meal and service was attentive. Seemed a bit expensive, but you know that going in lol.

This is one of the more enjoyable restaurant experiences in Sherwood Park. Out of the Cactus Club, Earls, and Joeys family I think Joeys food is the worst of the three. That goes for this location as well. One time I had the pesto shrimp flatbread and the dough was obviously not completely cooked. There are no great options to choose from, especially when it comes to desserts. That all being said the food is decent enough. I don’t go to Joey’s for the food, but in Sherwood Park if you are looking for somewhere that feels like you’re going somewhere cool this may be a good place to try. The lounge is quite large and spacious so it never feels too crowded. Sometimes on weekend evenings there can be a bit of a wait for a table.

Came here with a table of 13 on Sunday! Service was alright(the woman was awesome, the man talked too much and wasn’t attentive), food was awesome and overall it was a great dinner. I’m vegan and they accommodated me very well with a veggie Teryiaki rice dish and an avocado sushi roll to start. Delicious

Food was sub par for the price, things move at a snails pace for service. Was not impressed for a new venue. Won’t be back

Order a chicken Alfredo to go, I got literally about 50 noodles worth, no chicken, and no Gaelic bread to boot… What the fuck did I pay 18 $ for? Bullshit I guess.

I feel that Sherwood Park gets shafted when it comes to quality restaurant selections. The old location of Joey was Ok but this new venue is amazing. And the service/food matches its level. I have been here a number of times and each time the staff were pleasant and inviting. They are dressed classy and are accommodating to children… unlike another well-known restaurant in Sherwood Park. The patio is huge and well placed. There is plenty of shade throughout a hot summer’s day and the spacing between seating is great. You will feel really comfortable eating and relaxing out there. The food as always is great. The last time I visited I had the Spanish Paella. WOW. Besides the plating style the combination of flavours with this dish was to die for. If you are up for a spicy dish that will warm you up and leave you full, give it a try. You will not be disappointed. As a Sherwood Park resident, it’s nice to see that Joey has made my city a permanent home. I really enjoy this place.

Nice friendly staff. Good food. Bit noisy. Feel a bit rushed to leave and don’t feel comfortable to sit and chat for any length of time, which makes me prefer other places overall unless I’m only interested in eating and running.

Good, but… The new location is great, much more modern, larger, but with mostly the same menu. Service was prompt, we had a party of five, and were seated in under five minutes, and had drinks shortly after. The server was great, taking our orders quickly and answering any questions. The food was hot and out within fifteen minutes. The only downside is that they’ve reduced the portion size of the various pastas. Definitely recommend the fettuccine chicken Alfredo. Overall very good.

Not buying hype… Sat down with two kids for lunch… and our story begins. My appologies in advance for the unabridged version! Hostess went to get a booster seat only to return informing me they only have high chairs… which attatch to table. Not ideal for my short 5 year old. Strike one for confusion on her part and poor equipment choices on managements part. Next… No official childrens menu. Ok. Fine. I guess it’s not entirely family friendly. Informed by server however that they do offer several kids options. Grilled cheese, chicken fingers, or kids sized pasta with either tomato or alfredo sauce. Put menus asside… waited for a while. A new gentleman appeared to take our orded. This is the third person to help us. I don’t like such confusion. Ordered the grilled cheese and pasta with marinara. I ordered Ahi Tuna buger. He went to kitchen to confirm marinara. Returned with news it was only tomato sauce. Fine. That’ll do. 5 minutes later… he returns to tell me… and my uncomfortably seated 5 year old that it turns out they do not have the tomato sauce at all. Good grief. It shouldn’t be this hard to feed the kids. I inform him that we will settle on a FREE order of kids pasta with alfredo sauce. He agrees. Now…we wait for food… Not bad. Kids pasta not bad… but not worth the $ 7 they charge. Grilled cheese. Reasonable value. Ahi Tuna burger… pretty good. Overall. Ok food. At least 4 people«helped» us. Not entirely sure who my server was. I don’t think my family and I will be back for a long time.

Went for apps last night and was surprised to find the place deserted! Fortunately we found out that They moved to a new location a few steps away. Wow! What a transformation! Beautiful décor. Great atmosphere. Nice background music not too loud. Sat in the bar and a beautiful log table and enjoyed lettuce wraps, Korean cauliflower and a Mediterranean plate. All delicious. But the cauliflower was so good we ordered a second plate! Server Jo was fantastic. About $ 25/person for appetizers excluding wine. Wine is $ 8−12/glass. A bit expensive but worth it if you want a more upscale place.

Out in Sherwood Park for a little date night. Service was phenomenal(Sydney). She gave great suggestions and made the experience that much better! We tried the Beach salad + the Joey stab at sushi. Food was good. Came out prompt. What you would expect from Joey. Always consistent. Beer was cold and wine was on point. Really dig the open lounge and new design of the interior. Would definitely recommend this to anyone out and about in Sherwood Park!

So we start off by being told it’s a 20 minute wait. It’s been close to an hour. You know when you make people wait that long for food and continually being told«only a few more minutes» it doesn’t do you or your new restaurant in the new building location any good… and puts all the more pressure on the service and food team to deliver a perfect experience. Add insult to injury, the people right before us were offered a free appetizer… I didn’t bother asking for one. This being said, once we were seated it was fairly quick to get our orders taken and service was good. I had the Rotisserie Chicken which was presented well and was excellent. Joey’s if you are listening… be honest with your customers. If it’s going to be a 55 minute wait tell your customers. Have a policy in place that lets your staff offer a free appetizer for any guests waiting for longer than 30 minutes. This will go a long way to keeping a loyal customer base. I may be back. But if I see a long line of people I may decide to check out one of the many restaurants near by.

Checked out the new patio, it’s beautiful! Was given two menus, one which was filthy. Told the sever so she took away the dirty menu and failed to return with a new one. The two of us tried to share the one menu. Finally had to ask for another to be brought out. The Caesar was fantastic as well as the gyoza. Tried the Ahi Tuna Club for the first time and it was amazing! Will be back to order again. **Make sure you check your bill as an Ice Tea pop had been added on($ 3 and change). When I pointed it out to the sever I was then questioned back«are you sure you didn’t have one?» Really? Usually get above average service from Joeys but not that day.

Ate here for lunch on Monday while in town for work. There were only 3 of us and we all felt about the same regarding our visit. Atmosphere is great, and the food was really good as well. It wasn’t very busy when we got there, but the service was clumsy and slow. I will say they were nice and friendly. It would be easy to rate this higher if the service was stepped up a notch. I’ve been to a Joey’s in Calgary and had a better experience.

Very nice new location. The lounge is much larger and more sunlight than the old one. A few different me u items but still delicious. I have to recommend the apple pie! It is made on the spot and is so delicious! I had mine with caramel and icecream. Pretty sure next time I come I am going to order the apple pie for supper and dessert!

We had made reservations for 6 people at 11:30am last week for our business lunch today. I was second to arrive for our reservations and the place was already busy in both lounge and dining area. My company started arriving at around 11:40 — 11:45am, so I was happy because I was hungreee… Once we were all there everyone ordered their drinks and food at the same time because we need to be out by 1:00pm or earlier to catch our next meeting. While waiting and having small talk I tried to take photos of the restaurant without being too obvious. The place is smaller than the South Common location in Edmonton but it still has the Joey’s trade mark look, an upscale lounge with good looking employees. It brings me memories of when I was in school and was a server… hmmm the fun good ‘ol days… lol About 45 mins went by and no food, my stomach started making noises. I feel my colleagues getting a bit antsy(this is not good). Our server came by and told us that the lounge patrons had ordered just before us and that is why our lunch is taking too long. By the time our food arrived it has been about an hour if not longer. I ordered the BBQ Salmon bowl with brown rice and my colleagues had lettuce wraps, salads, and ravioli. The food looked amazing! I can’t complain about the food, my salmon bowl was delicious and everyone else was happy with their meal. My only complaint was the service was extremely slow(we did not leave until 1:20pm) but it was not our servers fault I can see the cooking staff was crashing. It was a busy lunch rush so I’m still giving a 3.5 star but closer to 4 star. I would come back here but not if I had important plans after because it’s more of a place to relax and enjoy a few drinks plus eat yummy food. Next time I’m sitting in the lounge!

mmmm… Steak. I love the Joey chain. When I found out we were going for a work lunch at Joey Sherwood I was absolutely ecstatic. I haven’t been here in a number of years, so I was very impressed with the renovations. The ambience is really great. Nice, subtle lighting and a calm buzz of tables around you. The service was really great too. There was 7 of us and none of our beverages were ever empty. Most of my guests ordered Steak and Sushi, which is new to the menu. I’m not into sushi so I didn’t join them, but it looked amazing and everyone seemed incredibly happy with it. I went with the steak frites. It was a perfect medium rare. Oh, I do love a good steak.

I came here for a supper with my mom and future MIL. It was a little louder than I would have liked but it was my fault for not knowing the atmosphere. My dinner of sliders was really tasty, but my MIL’s meal came quite undercooked and not to preference, we’re talking food safety here. My mom and I awkwardly ate our meals at her insistence. By the time her meal came, we were both finished. Our server was exceptional though. The atmosphere and kitchen just weren’t up to standards.

I like to go to Joey Sherwood park for lunch with clients of dinner with my wife. Today I went for lunch with a client. We sat in the lounge near the bar at one of the high tables. It’s usually busy but easy to get a table for lunch. I like how consistent the food here is, I ordered the beach salad with candied pecans, strawberries, goat cheese and chicken. It was one of the best salads I have ever had. My favorite was the goat cheese. I usually get the tuna salad with extra tuna, but I was glad I stepped outside the box today because it did not disappoint.

Came here for late night dinner on a Thursday evening. No wait for a table — perfect. The menu is still pretty late with a lot of options so depending on what you want to eat or are hungry for you could find something. The food came out timely and the service was great! If you’re in the park and you’re looking for somewhere to eat, Joey Tomatoes is a good choice.
