The Great Canadian Bagel

I’m definitely a sucker for bagel sandwiches, so of course I loved the food here. I got the bacon and egg sandwich on a cheddar herb bagel. Everything was delicious! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because of the price. Otherwise it’s totally worth trying!

Bagels are good, but selection is awful. Go in to get a dozen bagels and can’t get more than 1 or 2 of the flavors I wanted. Cream cheese is not very good and doesn’t carry regular plain cream cheese, only light plain.

I love going to great Canadian bagel. I regularly get a cheddar herb bagel with two eggs and cheese. Great quick breakfast and always delicious. The location is a big weird to find the first time but worth the trek. Only downfall is that they close at 5, so if your stopping home on the way from work you might miss them.

This past weekend was the first time I had visited their Sherwood Park location since the West Edmonton location closed.
This one does not have a drive thru and the parking lot can only be entered from one driveway; if you miss it, you have to drive all the way around the block :-(As I did!
Anyhoo, when you do finally make your way in you will not be disappointed in the quality of their fabulous bagels and bagel sandwiches! I tried the pulled pork for the first time on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was killer! I def miss frequenting them for a sausage, egg, and cheese breakie jalapeño cheddar bagel.
They have coupons in the SUTP book and are a student discount card supporter if I’m not mistaken.
Friendly staff and great quality bagels — hard to get much better than this!
So why only 4 star? I miss the Edmonton location and drive thru convenience. For those of you that live or work in Sherwood Park, you are lucky ducks and I envy you!
