Went there and bought 4 knives. The lady was super nice and helpful. We got to compare and look at everything that we wanted to side by side. Great place to get high end knives like wusthof and henckels. Super neat place, which has so many cool nick nacks that its hard not to pick random stuff up. Definitely worth checking out.

Went there tonight for the best vegan cooking class hosted by the Mercury Room chefs Jade And Rylan! Absolutely loved the amazing veggie burgers, beet relish, smokey bbq sauce, cornbread and strawberry shortcake we made! So so good. They were awesome hosts and even better chefs :)

I recently took a baking class here and it was a fun experience. The staff associate(maybe the owner?) wasn’t involved in the class but was very friendly and offered us tea and chocolates throughout the evening. The store is very nice and organized. I don’t generally purchase many kitchen gadgets or tools but I enjoyed looking around at their interesting products as they have a great variety of items and I will definitely keep this place in mind next time I do need something.

I love kitchen gadgets — anything to make my life in the kitchen easier or more fun, and I am all for it. I discovered the Pan Tree when visiting a fitness studio in the same shopping complex, and it’s definitely a high end kitchen shop. The store is large, easy to navigate, and full of anything you would need to stock your kitchen. They have probably every item ever made by Le Cresuet, two walls of specialty knives, and a wide variety of kitchen appliances. I especially like that they carry accessories that fit my model of KitchenAid mixer — it is a larger bowl lift model, and most stores like Bed Bath & Beyond and The Bay don’t carry the right ones. In the middle of the store there is a demo area, and if you happen to go on a night when they are demonstrating food or drink, you can sample everything from exotic trail mix to hot chocolate. I do find that the service is really hit or miss though. I have been in the store at least ten times, and on some occasions I am greeted by a friendly staff member, and on an equal number of occasions I will spend 10 minutes in the store browsing and leave without being acknowledged or greeted if I don’t purchase anything. The Pan Tree is a great local business to support, but I don’t know if I would make the trip into Sherwood Park especially to visit the store.

I was so excited to check-out this store that I had heard so much about that I left work a wee bit early. I needed a Peugeot pepper mill and a few more things and was pumped to spend money on more kitchen accessories that I no longer have space to put them but always seem to find a need to buy more of. Although the store had a wonderful layout and great quality kitchen stuff, the service was horrible. It did not start well when I walked into this store and was not greeted by the staff. I begin to walk straight to the pepper mill section where I stayed for quite some time looking at the various selection while wondering if they had the one that I liked in a box maybe out back as there seemed to only be displays left on the shelves. As no one was acknowledging me or coming over to ask if I needed help despite the fact that there was only one other customer in the store, I decided to approach the cash register area to ask about kitchen scales. The customer service representative could not tell me if she had any or where they were, and it took her forever to look them up on the computer… the shop is as big as the palm of my hand… I was so frustrated by that point that when she did end up showing them to me I briefly looked at them and left the store deciding that I would not be spending my money here and would take my business elsewhere. It’s too bad, I love encouraging locally owed shops and especially anything that has to do with kitchenware, but I work hard for my money and I expect the level of service that should come with locally owned shops; if I didn’t want service I would just shop online which as we all know is much cheaper, convenient and offers a wider variety of products. So to conclude my critic, I would recommend this store if you absolutely need that gadget that you are looking for and need right then and there, but if that is not the case, I say go elsewhere where they will provide you with service or at least a smile.

Wow, this is a kitchen gadget lovers paradise! I don’t often head out to Sherwood Park, ha, actually I think it has been three years since the last time I ventured out east. But I am so glad I went. This store blew me away! One thing you get in the burbs is a whole-lotta-space! And this store is no exception. Big expansive, open concept rooms that have a plethora of kitchen goods spaced evenly apart so that you can clearly see everything. Each item is on display on its own; not cluttered and stacked on top of one another. They have a vast selection from very expensive pots and pans, to high end Kitchen Aid and other small appliances. Gadgets, utensils, cloths and cleaning supplies, as well as many cute and quirky items that would work well as gifts. They also have all the speciality food stuffs for gourmet cooking that will impress your dinner guests as well. Such as salted caramels, meat and poultry brine’s, fancy jams and rubs, organic juices and glazes, exotic teas, Tahitian Vanillas and Dead Sea salts, well, you get the picture! In the middle of the store is a large cooking demonstration area that would make anyone rub a dirty ‘ol lamp to wish it in their house. And when I was in, they had just made delightful cookies with caramels baked into them. Low and behold, the recipe for the cookies is right beside the package of caramels needed… very sneaky, preying on my sweet tooth! I bought two items that I have been searching for for a while now, a tea cozy to keep my giant morning pot warm for hours(used it today, totally worth the $ 10!). And a really cool herb keeper(no, not that kinda herbs!) by a company called Cuisipro. It looks chic and was only $ 18.95 so all in all, I am very happy about the expedition!

Kitchen gadget store that will blow your mind! I love the variety of housewares and knick knacks the have. Nathalie, the owner, takes great pride in the lines and brands she chooses to sell here, such as Henkel and Le Creuset. There are also delicious treats you can pick up to spoil yourself or a loved one. My favourites are the salted caramels(only available during Christmas time) and the Jacek chocolate bars!

If you are looking for a place to help stimulate your kitchen creativity, this is the place to go! They have every kind of pot, pan, peeler, scooper or dipper you could possibly want or need for the kitchen. The owners are very knowledgeable about their products and passionate about sharing it with others. If they don’t have an answer to your kitchen question, they will find out who does! The store also has a full kitchen in the middle where they conduct classes and demonstrations throughout the week. This is a great touch and somehow makes the ambiance that much more welcoming.
