Wonderful food here if you’re up for paying a little more. I would prefer that they had an option to purchase the entire pot of the lemon dill rice soup goodness they tease me with. I need more of that in my life. Great food, great wines, classy yet relaxed environment.

Vicky’s has the best Greek salad I have ever eaten in my life. The lady’s always there working hard making sure standards are kept up and the food tasty! Great staff great atmosphere when you’re in Sherwood Park I’d be eating here.

Came here on a last minute dinner date to celebrate a close friends birthday. She has celiac disease(wheat allergy) and this place has a surprising large number of items on the menu for her to choose from. That being said I think this place would also be great for anyone following a paleo diet. I had already had a lighter supper earlier in the evening so I didn’t think I could eat a full entrée. I went with an appetizer and the lemon rice soup. I have to say I was surprised by the quality of the food here. For the price I did find the survive size small, although the entrée plate my friend ordered was generous. The lemon rice soup was spectacular. If you do come here its a must try. And my little pot of scallops was pretty darn good too. Since it was a birthday I decided to try the Velvet V cocktail. This little concoction was served cold in a martini glass. It was a little sweet side for my taste but went down easily enough. Overall I think this place is worth a second try just be prepared to spend a bit more then usual.

Read this! It exceeds expectations on all levels. We live in Sh Pk and take friends and family here whenever we get the chance and it has never disappointed. The food is deliciously made in house and the portion sizes are great; that said, if you are looking for a quick supper, don’t go here. Fresh, homemade food takes time to prepare(and this is what Vicky’s is all about); so if you are in a rush, go to a chain and get your meal quick from a microwave. The service constantly impresses. It is a family run restaurant and whether family or not, everyone seems to genuinely care about your meal and experience. All in all, it is by far the best destination in town for a classy, sit down meal. I recommend reservations and if they are tough to get, that is probably saying something. Also! There is FREE(2h) underground heated parking, so you don’t have to freeze in the winter. Notes/My favorites: Lemon rice soup(which we always get with their warm bread, you have to ask for it) ‘The Rack’, medium rare(lamb); my favorite Baked Alaskan; my wife’s favorite We are typically there for 1.5 hours. Can be a bit chilly by the door in the winter(but only impacts a couple tables) Patio is beautiful in summer Wine options are great Go there!

I was at this establishment last night with a group of 11. We were firmly told they did not have the technology or willingness to breakdown group costs and provide separate 6 bills as this amount of people were too many. However, we would still be expected to pay the 18% gratuity and a calculator would be provided for us to figure out our own costs. The bill was over 600.00. This experience was totally humiliating and I felt bad for our waitress, who was left on the front lines to deal with this REDICULOUS and FRUSTRATING Disaster!!! Do NOT expect a lovely evening for more than 4 people.

We came back here because of the great experience and food from our company meet and greet with clients. If I could give 6 stars I would. This was one of the best experiences all around. First, the atmosphere was great. Setting is more centered around adults, but you could bring your family. Great place for a date night. Service was also exceptional, friendly and attended to regularly. Ok, so the food was fantastic, there were five of us and we all agreed this was an amazing place, with amazing food. I had the risotto, one of my coworkers had the lamb chops, and another the salmon. All cooked very well. We had appetizers, the olives and little meatballs(can’t remember what they were called). Both were very good as well. Then we splurged and got 3 desserts to share. We had the soufflé, the coconut cake, and tiramisu. All excellent desserts and would highly recommend. Nothing about this was disappointing. I’ll be back when in the area, as I’m sure my coworkers will be too!

Lived in The Park since 2005, never had a bad meal here yet, also pick up take out and it’s always perfect. Anyone complaining about the price should stick to fast food, this is fine dining. The service is comparable to any high end restaurant in Edmonton. Always worthy of a 20% tip, It’s in our top 3.

I have followed the chef and staff from one location to the next and now at the Strathcona County building. Their Greek-style dishes are incomparable Never miss their lemon rice soup. Rack of lamb or salmon are delicious. The service is second to none. Mmmmm First class all the way.

Vicky’s is a bistro within walking distance of Festival Hall. They were able to squeeze my GF& I in prior to the show. We appreciated that they gave us a time we needed to be out to accommodate a reservation. Service was great. The waitress was awesome very informed about the menu & told us about parking for our next visit. Food was very good & pricing was on par. Great way to start the evening. Thank you.

I have eaten here once before and it was fantastic, albeit a little long for wait times for food. I wanted to go again so called to make a reservation and spoke directly to the owner. She said 9pm and 4 pm were the only available times. I told her I would call right back. 60 seconds later I called back and a young guy answered. I asked to book the 9pm slot and was told they weren’t taking reservations. I explained I had just talked to the owner and he got very rude with me. Not going to argue, just means my buisness isn’t needed there. Too bad.

I stopped here for lunch with a few friends one afternoon. I think my expectations from this place were a little high. The décor and atmosphere give it a feel that you are going to be treated with excellent food and service. Our waitress was average and served us periodically. The place wasn’t busy so I was a bit surprised she was slow. I ordered the bistro burger which came with soup. I was surprised that their menu didn’t give the option of fries. I didn’t bother asking becuase I assumed it would have been an extra charge and also I thought the cream of potato soup sounded interesting. The soup was good but rated like something I would buy from a grocery store. When my burger arrived it was placed on a cutting board with a small side salad. The burger was large and had some great ingredients but after my first bite I realized that the beef patty was not homemade. It was a frozen pre made patty. So much disappoint. The bun, onions, Brie cheese were great but the beef patty was a total let down. For the price they charge here I was expecting a great homemade burger with fries. I’ve only been here once before and I will not go back. Nothing about this place makes me want to return.

Where do you think you should go for the best steak in Sherwood park? Probably a steakhouse… But would you think it could happen at a wine bar??? No? Well it did. I was at vickys for a Christmas party and the place was jumping. The wait staff were flying around. I got escargot as my appie and they were really good. I’ve only ever had them soaked in butter and stuff in mushrooms, at vickys they served them in a delicious tomato sauce. For my main course I got the filet mignon. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly, plus it is aged 30 days before serving, so the meat was very flavourful. Hands down the best steak I have ever had in Sherwood park. For desert, I had scotch because there was no room in my belly for more food after that amazing steak. Go check out vickys because it was awesome, even when it was really busy.

I have tried this place a few times hoping its a hit or miss prospect and one of these times it will be good. It never is. Last Friday my husband and I went for dinner. The lemon rice soup was mealy and salty. My lamb chops were terribly undercooked. My husband ordered filet mignon and he got two thin pieces of grey meat. One was cooked well done and the other was raw in the middle. He asked for medium. We heard one of the older waitresses oh I think is Vicky’s sister scold two of her co-workers separately in the time we were there. Not appropriate. And to top it off, this awful experience cost us $ 200 for the two of us. It’s time for me to admit that this place isn’t hit or miss, it’s just miss.

Went here for the first time tonight with a group of 6. Firstly, it is clear that this place is popular as it was packed. However, the staff were efficient, polite and quick at getting you seated at taking care of you. The atmosphere is comfortable and classy. My wife and I both had the NY Steak. Both were a little over cooked but were very good. The Greek potatoes the steak came with were awesome. We also really likes the lemon rice soup. Very interesting and tasty. We also got the bread loaf with our meal and I could probably eat three of those alone. It was awesome. Overall a very good night out with good friends and good food. We will definitely be back to try out the many other items on the menu.

This was my second time there tonight. I had the special pork chop. It was delicious. Tonight I started with the lamb lollipops they were good. The balance of feta cheese. Tomato and lamb was ok, a bit to much feta for me. I am not a huge feta cheese guy. The lemon rice soup was tasty — I am not a huge fan of soup either. Bring on the NY steak– that’s up my alley. The potatoes and veggies with the steak were fantastic. The steak was a tad bit over cooked. I like a solid med rare. Ended the meal with the carrot cake. Not the best cake I have ever had but it did the job. The atmosphere is fantastic. It was extremely busy but we were not rushed to eat and didn’t wait to long for food. I will be back to try the many other dishes that intrigued me.

I went to Vicky’s to celebrate my wedding anniversary. It was my first visit at the new location beside the library and I enjoyed it very much! Service was efficient, professional and friendly, the food tasted great and the portions were just right. What I loved about the restaurant was its fantastic menu. There were many items on the menu I wanted to try and it all looked great. I think I’ll be visiting Vicky’s again soon. A note about the other reviews: my water was replenished several times, my server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu + wine pairings and I left feeling completely satisfied with the dinner experience from start to finish. I would consider the menu to be more regional cuisine rather than exclusively Greek, although there is a bit of fusion within each dish, such as pita served with«Prawns a la Vicky» and Greek style potatoes served with my main. I had the Alaskan, which was prepared very well(chicken not dry) and my husband ordered the lobster and tenderloin, which was also prepared perfectly(not chewy). The atmosphere is more sophisticated than Joeys albeit more expensive. If you live in Sherwood Park and are looking for alternatives to Joeys, Earls or Ric’s, give Vicky’s a try. It’s a gem in Sherwood Park.

We were there on a Friday. New location. It is located next to the new library. Wasn’t too busy. Not a big place. The food and atmosphere is excellent, no question. We sat on the lounge side which has similar atmosphere to the restaurant. A notch above the Sawmill with red cherry paneling. Quiet and good for a date. Entrees average $ 25. Meals have good presentation. On the downside there is only one washroom and the pints of beer are $ 9 and $ 10 dollars! They invite you to watch sports in their lounge, but at $ 9 and $ 10 for a pint, you’ve got to be kidding. Wine pricy too! Bottles of domestic beer thankfully are around $ 6. Always ask the price!
