Gusto Movers

Moving sucks, right? Do yourself a favor and make it suck significantly less by hiring Gusto Movers. Erich and Travis were absolutely the best movers I’ve ever used, can’t say enough good things about making a horrible and stressful day (actually, two) into a great experience.
In a nutshell, we hired them mainly because they were based out of Squamish where we lived and local companies know that things are a little different sometimes in the Squamish Valley. They get that a move might (and did) packing up a barn, a storage shed, and a house, whereas «the big guys» might not be prepared for that.
They showed up promptly on time, and, 8 sweaty hours later, had their 5-​ton truck, their pickup and U-​Haul trailer, and our pickup loaded to the roofs with not an inch to spare. Never, ever play Tetris with Erich, you will lose!
The amazing kicker to this move is they were willing to get up at 3:30 AM the following morning to catch the 6 AM ferry on a long weekend to move us to Nanaimo!
Our move had lots of other weird factors with tenants still occupying a space they shouldn’t be, among other things, that threw some wrenches into our plans. All were handled expertly and with smiles. «Whatever, we’ll make it work» was the commonly heard statement.
These guys absolutely busted their asses over two days for us and we can’t thank them enough, hopefully this review is a start. They brought doughnuts for us but never stopped to eat them. In 12 hours of work over two days, our 20 minute lunch break today for some hard earned grub was the only time they stopped moving.
All of this would be amazing enough for me to write a review, but their price was a SIGNIFICANTLY better deal than any of their competitors we checked out. Trust me, these guys were worth every penny we spent and much more.
Absolute no-​brainer that these guys should be your first call if you’re looking for movers! They’re based in Squamish but do work in Vancouver, too. I never, ever want to move again, but if I do, Gusto Movers is for sure our guys.
Erich and Travis, can’t think you guys enough for keeping us sane and making a stressful time go smoothly. You guys rock and I will definitely spread the word to anyone I hear of looking for movers! You’re awesome :)
