Thank you Chapters for having a Starbucks inside, having a children’s section with a few items out to enterain my monkeys, and for having what I was looking for. So why only 4 stars you ask? Perhaps it is not Chapters fault and just my HATRED for Canadian pricing on books. Seriously!?! $ 22.95 for a hardcover copy of a Dr. Seuss book… Really? Chapters is clean and bright with friendly staff. They have some excellent sale sections but alas… I’m still peeved at having to pay $ 24 for a children’s book. So, 4 stars it is. If Unilocal would let me, I’d give you 4.5. You are still my go to and I will remain forever loyal. Signed your book loving book worm but CDN publisher price listing hater, Kristin

Wow, this is one quite Chapters! Like ghost town quite. I guess if you need to buy a book with complete anonymity this is your place! Its large and has a nice children’s section. They have quite a lot of gift item sections as well throughout the front and all down the middle of the store. The only reason I went in was because I was in need of a place to work with free wifi. I had driven around St Albert and found 2 locally owed coffee shops, one was closed, the other did not have working wifi. So, I knew I could count on Chapters and their Starbucks, so headed in. The Starbucks was ok, 2 people working scatted tables and chairs, non that had a plug in! So I worked until my laptop died, then wandered around the store. At one point I heard a pin drop and decided it was time to leave.(Okay, I made that last part up, but seriously… It was crazy how quite the place was)
