Buster Bars: 1970’s: 50% fudge. 1980’s: 25% fudge. 1990’s: 15% fudge. 2000’s: 5% fudge. Now: fudge practically non-existent!!! You guys may as well call it a dilly bar with 3 peanuts. You are ripping people off, destroying childhood memories and all in the name of corporate greed. You guys suck out loud and I hate you for it. I complained to corporate but they could care less…“Call consumer relations at 1−800-WE-DONT-CARE”… Jam it, DQ.

What can I say… We went to the St Albert DQ and ordered three Blizzards, a Julius, a slush drink with ice cream, and a milk shake. First it took over 25 minutes to get our order, then it was wrong, the orders were all made wrong, the incorrect orders and the wrong sizes. They then served the Blizzards without turning them upside down, and blew us off when they were questioned about it. Even tbe drinks were wrong. After twenty-five minutes and $ 27 we left with the wrong orders(just to escape) but not before paying an extra dollar to get one of the Blizzards served in the correct size. I’m disgusted, ten staff in the restaurant and three working, and those ones were screwing up non-stop. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Staff was rude with a careless attitude. Watched one guy take out the garbage with his apron on & then come back in, sort of wash his hands & dry them on his apron. Not only was that gross, but com’on, health & safety when dealing with food is important.

Named«The Ice Cream House» by our toddler, this is a favourite summer treat for Gramma and Me outings. The food is always up to expected standards and the staff is amazingly patient with wee ones who can’t make quick decisions. Kudos for a place that provides large, soft napkins at every table for comfortable face cleaning and efficient mop-ups of spills. The seating area is large enough that singles with a newspaper to peruse can do it in relative peace and safety from noisy children. The exception to that is any hot afternoon when it’s full of energy and even has line-ups to wait through. In that case, just leave it to families and find your quiet spot elsewhere, or else come to enjoy watching happy faces smeared with soft freeze :-) Love the community involvement as well — Dairy Queen feels good AND tastes good!

OMG! I waited 30 minutes in line for a blizzard that wasn’t even mixed properly. Staff was very rude to me, place was packed with screaming kids who were running everywhere… I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I recommend Dairy Queen, just NOT this location. Been here 3 times and all 3 times its been brutal. I won’t even come back for a 4th visit.

This location serves up the standard Dairy Queen treats you can find anywhere in the city. What I like most about this location is the size — it may be the largest seating area I’ve seen in a Dairy Queen in the Edmonton Area which is a plus for my family when I want to tuck my noisy toddler into a corner booth so as to not disrupt all the other diners with every word of her conversation like, «Mommy, I need to go poop now!» This location also has an Orange Julius combo in it for those of you wanting a sweet drink. On my last visit here there was a wedding party who stopped in on the way to their reception after photos for Dilly Bars — quite the site!

The most popular destination in St. Albert on a hot summer day. The young staff are very friendly and the management are very involved in the community. The only negative is that they don’t wear gloves when preparing food.
