Excellent Beer; Excellent Moonshine! Truly a place that deserves your attention. It’s not called«Hog’s Head» anymore, though they do serve Hog’s Head Brewery products, made on-site. Try a «Flight» to get the true experience. The new name is «The Beer Factory» and it is under new Management. Fridays and Saturdays they are open to Midnight. They need their listing updated! The food is quite good, too. Just like it was before. Try the pork bites appetizer – you won’t regret it one bit. They’re aren’t the same as the deep-fried, breaded variety. Just Fantastic, like the brews! And their prices are wayyy better than average. Better food, better drinks and for less. Seriously. They’ve built a new deck, too. It’s huge! With a giant screen inside, they’ll show hockey, football, soccer or whatever you ask for. Great place in St. Albert, off the beaten path.

I love the hogs head! I have so much fun every time I go. The food is amazing, home cooked, and fast! Service is friendly, I feel like I’m among friends :) this is my fave place to start the night and have a good meal along with some home brewed moonshine :) P. S. they’ve recently changed their name to «beer factory» just FYI

The food here is AWESOME. I wish I had known about this place for all of those years I was dating somebody that was in St. Albert, he lived right nearby and we could have walked here frequently. Because had we known how awesome it was I just know we would have been here often. Décor is sparse and it is fairly small inside but the owner is doing renos soon. I’ll be sure to revise my review once I check the post-renoed place out! The menu is fairly small but they serve all day breakfast and lunch so there is still a fair amount to choose from. Both times I’ve been in I’ve had different sandwiches with the beet and parsnip salad – the salad is KILLER. You will regret it if you don’t try it. Beet salad is usually awesome anyway but once you add in roasted parsnips it becomes a whole other level of amazing. They also have flavoured moonshines on tap along with a whole host of house made beers… I don’t even like beer and I found one that I would have more than a mouthful of. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and everything is reasonably priced. They even have moonshine slurpees! Tucked away in the industrial Riel park just north of the Enjoy centre you’d never know that this place was here. Please go check it out, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The beer and atmosphere was good. food on the other hand was lacking flavour, it was cold and did not leave us wanting to come back for more. The beef stew was watery, cold, tasteless and resembled a watered down can of vegetable beef soup. Only the vegetable soup would probably had more than 3 pieces of stew. The Reuben sandwich is suppose to contain Montréal smoke meat. This one had beef, the French onion soup was also cold, watery and had no crusty croûton and minimal onion. the lemon chicken pizza was good. Out four guests none of us would return. Very disappointing for St albert restaurant as we had high expections.

Came here for lunch after a salesperson visited our office last week. One word — «underwhelmed» Firstly, since this is a brewery I expected the first page of the menu to be… beer! Well no, the first page was wine and mixed drinks — beer didn’t show until, wait for it… The LAST page! Menu was a little confusing, the«lunch» version of meatloaf is actually a sub-sandwich, not meatloaf on a plate as you might expect. The«blackened chicken ma and cheese» is actually a side serving of Mac and cheese, with a microwave-defrosted(at least tasted like it) seasoned chicken breast. There was no «star of the plate» as you might expect from the description. The meatloaf«entrée» was the exact same thing with meatloaf instead of chicken. Meatloaf was way over done. Since Mac and cheese was the focal point of each dish you’d expect it to be good. Flavor and texture was great but the handful of unmelted cold shredded cheese and Luke warm macaroni made it lack-luster. I’ll let them figure out how a kitchen woks before returning. The beer was good but unfortunately not what I will remember from this lunch.

They have a new kitchen in their tap house. Good food made with the beers they brew?! Sounds like a match made in heaven! Check them out for lunch or dinner. Of their beers my favorites are clockwork orange and pumpjack but they also have some other selections I’ve never tried. I will definitely need to try their death by pumpkin beer for my Thanksgiving dinner! And maybe get creative and use it in my pumpkin pie!

Really cool, chill brew pub. Leather chairs, rustic décor and all their cool brews on tap. I had the Clockwork Orange and Death by Pumpkin beers and really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere.
