Mimosa Day Spa and Wellness

Wow! This establishment gets 5 stars alone for its excellent customer service!
Ironically, I have never been to this spa but I was looking to buy a gift certificate for my girlfriend who lives in the St. Albert area. I read the reviews for Mimosa and it seemed that everyone who came here had very good things to say about it. I called the spa to buy the gift certificate and the lady I spoke with was very helpful and very pleasant. Since I don’t live in St. Albert, she offered to mail it to my friend for no extra charge.
A week went by and I called Mimosa back since my friend hadn’t received the GC yet. She offered to mail it again or hold it there for my friend to use when she came for her service. I went with the mailing option again. I no sooner got off the phone and she called me back to say that she would personally deliver it to my friend’s mailbox. Now that is going above and beyond! My friend received the GC that night. A very happy customer here: D

I came back to this spa after another local spot changed ownership and lost a bit of it’s skill set in the change (just my opinion). While I never had issues with their services before I changed providers I just had scheduling issues and the other spot was closer to my job. Having returned to use their waxing services a number of times since leaving the other business I have yet to be disappointed. Each appointment is better than the next. I’ve had a number of different techs but each one has been pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

I have been going to Mimosa for waxing for a few years now. I have always had a good experience and left a happy customer!
I was in over the weekend for a wax and realized the next day that there was still some hair left behind, so I left a voicemail with the issue on a day they were closed.
I was pleased when they contacted me bright and early the next business day, and promptly got me in for a touch-​up wax, free of charge.
Very pleased with how they handled the situation, I will continue going there for years to come!

This spa is located in Campbell Business Park across from the casino in St. Albert. Locally owned and operated this spa is geared toward relaxation and rejuvenation in a calming setting. I have been going to Mimosa since they opened in March 2010 and have experienced several exceptional services — pedicure, facial, manicure, and waxing to name a few.
All of the staff are professionally trained and extremely knowledgeable of all the services offered. I had returned from a 4 month trip to a more humid climate (let’s be honest, it is hard to go somewhere that isn’t more humid then Edmonton) and was having trouble with breakouts on my face — I didn’t know which facial would be best. But I didn’t need to worry as the owner was able to tailor a facial specifically to my needs. I was very impressed with the results and feel that helped my skin adjust overall to being back in Edmonton.
My favorite service is the pedicure. You can select between several options — I generally go with the Express Pedicure and then every once in a while spoil myself and splurge on the Signature Pedicure. They have the big relaxing massage chairs so the whole time your feet and lower legs are being pampered you can also be enjoying a back and neck massage.
Mimosa also offer a membership for regular visitors — the membership has several benefits including discounts on all services so I think it is worth it even if you only go a couple times in a year.
I love Mimosa and will continue to return regularly. I have also referred family and friends and they have all had the same wonderful experience as I do.
