Starbucks

My favourite starbucks in st albert. Staff are super friendly and even remember your drink order if you are a regular.
Once I just drove up to the drivethru and they said… come to the window michelle ill have your chai ready in a minute. Outstanding service. Quick and always made to order… I fully customize my drink.
If they screw it up (tends to happen when I order more than 6 coffees) they gratiously let me keep the coffees and make me new ones at my conveinence. Call ahead for big orders bc sometimes they are undrrstaffed and it can take 15 minutes for 8 coffees.

What’s not to love about Starbucks? To be fair, Seattle is my hometown so I’m more than a little biased.
We all know the drill — every Starbucks serves up the same stuff so I’ll stick to site specific info.
This location gets 4 stars bc the parking lot and drive thru is brutal — awkward at best. It’s like it was designed by a 5 year old who wanted to play bumper cars. The location is a little small for my taste but still filled with some comfy chairs and a small patio.
The staff here are always friendly and will get your order right.

Best staff and attitudes, they should use this store to train others!

The service at this Starbucks made me cry. I went in for a quick treat, and the cheerful, good-​natured woman behind the counter asked me how my day was going. What you need to know is that my mother was in the ICU and not doing very well. I was depressed, hadn’t slept, and must have looked terrible. All I could do was shake my head. The woman looked at me for a moment, made a grande mocha, and handed it to me. «Here you go, no charge,» she said. «You look like you need it.» I burst into tears, I was so grateful for the gesture. Thank you, Starbucks; that meant a lot to me. And the mocha was great too.

I really enjoy this location for a number of reasons:
— Proximity to main roads — it is quick to get off and back en route
— Drive Thru — easily accessible once in the parking lot
— Seating — they have a fair number of seating available inside and some tables outside (not sure I could call it a patio as it is right next to the drive thru and not fenced off or anything)
— Parking — lots of parking available
— Staff — friendly and professional
As always, this is a Starbucks, so my Grande Iced Passion Tea tastes the same here as in any other location. The standard décor doesn’t leave me much to comment on as I could be talking about any one of the stores. The differentiating factors are listed above. Most of all, I appreciate that it is easy to walk to this Starbucks and get a beverage to continue your walk on a sunny afternoon.

Bonus points for the free parking (lots of it) and outdoor seating at this S-​Bux location just outside of Edmonton. I was surprised at how little seating there was, because it’s a medium-​sized coffee shop, but they do have some comfy couch-​style chairs, too.
I ordered a simple venti tea and was offered warm cinnamon buns or a «marshmallow rice» treat to go with it (declined). But the drink came quickly, as did my friend’s, and with a smile. NIce art on the wall, too.
