At least there is one liquor place, don’t you think that every major plaza should have one? Located in Nordel Crossing Shopping Centre. My major beef is the lobby/entrance, where it’s rounded off to their checkouts but it’s a pretty tight space; you can’t walk around when two shoppers just stopped in the middle of the narrow path, to look at the huge Crown Royal display(how come I’m not surprised haha). But it’s a big Signature line, not Oakridge-size. Open late on fri/sat, 11pm.

Most certainly one of the most memorably miserable consumer experiences in recent history. The store is fine – it’s a BC liquor monopoly – 2 to 3 stars like the rest of them – it’s the setting and clientele that makes this place disturbing! After wandering through the mall trying to fine this place, I felt like an intern again, working late nights on the geriatric or hospice wards. Once in the liquor store, I discovered myself in the liver transplant unit – except these characters would clearly flunk the social work evaluation required for due-diligence! Depressive is an understatement. Get me out of this place! Never missing the US border duty free again! PS: forgot the mention that a 90-year-old lady with pink hair followed my fiancé and I around the store trying to make us sample wine at 11 am. When we asked her for help finding a bottle, it turned out her wine knowledge equaled that of the bum winos that frequented this place.

Total fan here. Liquor stores in Canada are different from USA. First off they are like BEVMO and only carry Liquor nothing else. I’m a Jack Daniels guy and they were priced just like the states what made me choke up a little is all the Jack Daniels Bottles had dust on them like no one wants the beautiful sexy bottle. But I became a fan of this place. As they give free samples of bottles that are on special. It’s like going to Costco and they have someone at the end of the aisles but the people here give samples of Rum or whiskey or what ever. Awesome!!!

Had no idea there was a Signature store here until now. Parking is plentiful as this location is part of the Nordel Crossing mall. This location is smaller than the Cambie + 39th one in Vancouver(and definitely feels more claustrophobic, but it’s still brightly lit, and the sections are well labeled. Of special note is the manager. She went well beyond her way to help me. When I couldn’t find what I was looking for, she came over to look. When she couldn’t find it either, she checked the computer, then also went into the back room. When that also failed(the computer said there was inventory but there wasn’t any physically), she called a nearby location, had them physically confirm their product was in stock, before giving me directions to the other store. Now THAT’s customer service.

This is a BC run liquor store located in the Nordel Crossing mini-mall. The store is a mid-size liquor store, but for some reason, it gets some specialty items that other BC liquor stores don’t get or don’t get until a later date(i.e. Peppermint Mocha Kaluha). One thing that sets this BC Liquor store location apart has been the helpfulness of the staff. A few times I needed a recommendation for a wine for a friend, mom-in-law, or just for dinner. More often than not, the recommendation has been well received with remaining at a certain price point I had in mind for the purchase. If the store did not have the product that they recommended due to it being sold out, or if they knew they didn’t carry an item, but thought another BC liquor store did, they would call around and ask the other store to hold an item for me. This was pretty nice to have — a government owned/run place that actual gave some customer service! Incredible! In fact, in one case, an employee directed me to a private store since he knew they would have a beer that I would probably like and it would be cold. Occasionally this location will have some samplers of new products. Overall, as far as BC government run liquor stores go, it’s one of the better locations.
