Condescending customer service. I went into Browns to purchase a present for my mother in-law. I was with a friend, who kept me company during this travail… All was going well, until we were approached by one of the Sales Reps, who told us that the purse we were holding might have been out of our price range. My apologies for not receiving the memo that I am suppose to wear my suit and tie, in order for me to look like I can afford to purchase an item in this store. Sorry Browns! When I’m not working, my suit stays in the closet! …but, the Bay and Ralph Lauren, would like to thank you for sending me their way ;) (Watch out for the guy in the grey suit and earring! Apparently working in a shoe store at 40 gives you the gift of reading into people’s bank accounts — quite the talent!)
