Was studying tonight and really craving Indian. Do you know how hard it is to find Indian that delivers past 8 or 9 pm. I don’t eat Indian very often as the 2 little tykes won’t eat anything but the naan so this was a treat for me… I was craving Chana masala in a big way… and if you’re gonna get Indian you have to get naan or roti… So I began my order… Chana masala, some veg pakora, a naan and a roti… unfortunately they have a $ 35 minimum delivery order so twist my hand, a chicken vindaloo and more naan… coming right up… It was a little over an hour before my food showed up… I asked for both main dishes as hot. Upon digging into my order… I was super impressed. At first look at the Chana masala I was a little worried as it looked a little too«butter chicken» sweet for me but I found the taste really pleasant and wanting more. The chicken vindaloo was the perfect pairing of tangy and spicy and found myself dipping my bread to sop up its juices Naan and roti was typical and the veg pakora wasn’t anything to write home about… but I should have know that as deep fried food is incredibly hard to keep«deep fried» with delivery I would highly recommend!!!

I was driving back to Seattle and happened to visit this restaurant on my way. We ordered Bhindi Fry, roti and a rice item. The Bhindi was whole with masala stuffed inside it and we loved it. The rice item which I think was biriyani was also good. If I visit Canada again, I will go to this restaurant. The staff was friendly. My kid spilled the water and the staff was friendly enough to clean it with no hassles. Only one suggestion I would tell the staff is to use the pad and pen when taking the orders. They had forgotten to include my biriyani and when we were done with rotis, we asked them. Then she realized that she had forgotten it. But the cook was good enough to get it a fast pace and not much waiting. They did make it without any problem.

I came here on my rush towards the border. I ordered Curry mussels and when they came I noticed they really weren’t fresh because they were slightly frozen inside. The sauce was hot and the mussels were opened and cold on the inside. There was Some lack of flavor building here. I was over all very disappointed in this. The naan they brought was very good. I also tried their lamb biryani and it was kind of a disappointment. There was hardly any lamb in there… tons of rice though… I just didn’t like it all that much. It’s ok if you need a Indian fix, but there are better Indian places in the area.

Went in for the buffet, being Indian myself I know what good Indian food taste like and this place is an embarrassment, the curries were watered down, the butter chicken was gross and thin, the rice was flavorless and service was non existent.

First visit: the restaurant looks good for the space they have, nice finishes ect. staff seemed friendly and accommodating Did the lunch buffet which is two tables one hot, one cold tried: butter chicken — mostly butter sauce, had to hunt around for the chicken pieces what i believe was a chickpea masala — was ok, nothing remarkable fish pakora — just plain breaded fried fish naan — not great, more like a tough pita bread :( dessert, rice pudding — was ok! not sure if it’s lesser grade indian seasonings/spices but the flavours seemed kind off, things were too sweet which made it seem more like we were eating thai food or :/ while I’d give the buffet a c minus, I will go back again and try ordering off the menu to see if the food is better.

We ordered many many dishes and everything was delicious! From butter chicken, samosa’s, naan, stuffed naan(aloo paratha), shrimp dish, tandoori chicken, mint chicken, and a cauliflower dish. Spices were unique & very good. I only wish the service was better. We will be back but hoping the service is much much better next time.

We ate buffet. There are about nearly 20 types of dishes. I think the taste is quite nice. I think they modified to adjust the people here. Worthy price 11.99 per person. Free parking, service is so so. However not everyone like their taste, it’s really depend on person.

Went to this place few months back and THEN I LOSTCOUNT how many times I been there. starting from outside Free parking YEYEYEYEYe(white rock /South surrey) free parking ++. entrance Huge picture of LIL chef beautiful. Lil bit of Indian Touch with the picture as you enter the Siting area the whole ambiance changes to Modern upgraded yet not overly done, beautiful Bar setup and very open and easy to move around ‚ Food taste for which I been going back again and again with many other friends is out standing. Yes I had one or 2 hiccups out of countless time I been there. but its like at any other restaurant they get busy staff gets overwhelmed and things go lil out of hand. Honesty of the owner is what impressed me He didn’t make any stupid excuses but made it clear that what went wrong and Fixed it for us . Buffet Oh the good Buffet limited Items YET satisfactory YUMMMMHHHHHHH ‚ the Buffet is served in smaller portions and is filled frequently for which Quality is not compromised. IT costs lot of money to have kitchen running for buffet NOTLIKEOTHER places/restaurant which make and pour whole day expected food sale in one serving and food becomes YUCKKK . Al a cart Menu. 12 stars to BUTTERCHICKENINDIANSTYLE. LIKESERIOUSLY Butter chicken is not to be sweet its has to taste like Butter and tomato with the chicken cooked separate in the clay oven with the spices, This place knows the butter chicken. NOw being a Punjabi Butter chicken is best paired with LAcha Parantha. OOOHHHHH asked them to do it well done lacha prantha they made it perfect, with onion and pickle meal is complete ‚ Vegout with PANEER Kadai oh Balley Balley feeling best paired with Garlic or plain naan . DAAL makhni Outstanding this was the second place I have liked the daal from and now became first choice to go for.(zaika in abby was the first one if your are curious) wrapping the meal with KHeer, Gulab Jamun or Rassl malai are great option, I am not a fan of Mango so dont order Ice cream. RASSSSMAAALAAIIIII is to die for wonder why they dont add it to BUFFET I would it alll. Kheer is served at perfect temp and texture and flavor just melts in the mouth . Service wise I have always being served by 2 hard working girls WHOARENOTCONSTANTLYCHECKINGTHEREPHONES. Thank God !!! Service industry and Cell phone addiction this place Knows is not a good idea and they work on it . I know the Food industry ppl really work hard to have fun and As I step in any resturant I decide what service I want and I am in control of my experince Even If I have an issue I talk to the staff in way that they dont feel offended Its upto me how I want to be served as at the end of the day We all are humans and we need to respect each other. If you have read my review this far Please when you visit any resaturant of eatry and some thing goes wrong Please think Its not end of the world and things can be fixed if you want faster service do analyze if place is busy . About curry sensation team is doing it right and have heard from others the catering is par excellent

I would give them 6 stars if I could! I’ve tried the buffet once, and dinner twice. Amazing. You have to try the Indian style butter chicken with bone in. It makes all the difference. Chicken Korma fantastic. The tandoori chicken in the buffet is the best I’ve ever had in a buffet. I’ve been to India twice, tried a dozen of the best Indian restaurants in London and all over UK, and this is one of my favorites. Go there!!!

best indian food in South Surrey/White Rock. Very good value and excellent service. And very clean. We just found it after many disappointing meals near the water in White Rock, and it is now a weekly visit for us. Spice level between 1 and 5.

Stopped by for lunch with my son and had the buffet. Good price and the naan was brought out fresh to the table. Some of the buffet offerings get picked over pretty darn quick(the butter chicken was all sauce when I got there), but pretty tasty. Not a huge selection, but good. The onion rings(I think with chickpea flour?) are strangely addictive with the tamarind sauce for dipping.

Stopped by for a snack will not be coming back anytime soon! Mango lassi: avoid, it’s just a milkshake too thin. Samosas avoid: laced in oil, could have been tasty and more palatable if they took care of dabbing the oil from it! Good service though.

Best naan I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of great naan. But it doesn’t stop there, all the dishes are made as they should be, traditional and delicious. By the end I needed to figuratively be rolled out of there. I was there for dinner and had the dinner for two combo, which I would highly recommend.

Good place Will definately recommened for as one of the finest Indian Resturants… the honey chilly potato reminded me of Delhi’s Honey Chilly Potato!!! However the chilly chicken was cooked in butter chicken sauce. Still awsome and good value for food!

Paneer Butter Masala — quite a bit of paneer. Lamb Tikka — I didn’t try any but my friends said it was a little too dry. The naan was a little too oily for me. Way too much butter on top. Paneer Naan $ 3.994⁄5 — one of the best I had. The paneer was in smaller pieces so it was distributed quite evenly on the flatbread. Spinach naan — thicker than Paneer. They probably used the frozen pre-chopped spinach which barely had any taste. The tin looked a little small but portions were alright. Don’t think it’s worth going all the way to South Surrey for this. Tandoori Kona or Ginger Garlic is good enough to do its job. Level of spiciness was on a Canadian scale not on an Indian scale. That was a little disappointed. They gave us some non-Indian hot sauce that didn’t make us feel satisfied. I had a feeling that the curries had the same base. They were very similar and I had problems distinguished between them.

Surprisingly and not surprisingly, it’s not your typical hole in the wall, as it’s date worthy establishment and not a joint only for takeout lol, though they do offer delivery. Some booth seating on the left, nice décor w/hanging lights, feels modern. Ordered the butter chicken and a few complaints: asked for spicy and no way that was a 5 star – should’ve asked for what a real Punjabi would’ve wanted lol. second, didn’t come w/any vegetables like Tasty Indian did: red onions, and tomato as well. Just a better texture, and a nice touch. But the rice was fluffy. Mango lassi passed with flying colours, not overly sweet. Yet, I’ll consider them again if I’m out here, as it does feel more like White Rock ;) Saving grace is they accept AMEX. free parking in the back.

Nice place, lots of free parking. The restaurant itself looks very modern, spacious and comfy seats. Food was really good. One of the best butter chicken sauce I have had. Very good consistency and authentic taste. The lamb was also good. The naan bread was awesome, crispy and thin. They dont give you much in a basket but they were attentive and kept on asking if we wanted more naan. They also give you a free dessert included with the buffet so save a tiny bit of room for that because its small. But it’s good. Staff was really nice, nothing really more to say, you feel welcome in there. One thing I would like to see is samosas. beef or veggie. please.
