Goldilocks is a famous filipino bakery. Just like laduree is from paris. It specializes mostly on baked goods like pandesal (sweet bread), fruit tarts and cakes. All 3 of these items are my favourites. Specifically the jackfruit tarts and the ube buttercream log cake. But they have a variety of other goods too like filipino shortbread cookies or even cheese bread. All of these items bring back memories of the phillipenes bc goldilocks is a treat there too. Its for special occasions. And for me it still is. They only have goldilocks in big cities like vancouver or las vegas. Not in my hometown in alberta. So when i come to a city that has goldilocks i make a special trip out to one.
A goldilocks in surrey! The one on broadway is bigger and better but its nice to have this option slightly closer to where i stay when im in the surrey area. Located in guildford mall. Its clean spacious and modern. Theres a small selection of fresh items and more refrigerated stuff too. The assorted cakes looked fabulous and i always end up with more than i planned to buy when i first came in. Try some sweets. They are great. A traditional filipino bakery. Yum. So close. It may be sinful.
