Let me say that we love going here. It’s clean, friendly, usually good service, fairly well priced, good portions and fresh fish. I totally recommend Ninja — it is «most def» our regular sushi hang out!

I have gone to Ninja for years and it’s be OK, but since the new owners have taken over it’s AMAZING! There are great unique rolls, the seafood is fresh, the service is friendly and the prices are good in comparison to other sushi places in the area.

These guys are really friendly and make you feel welcome every time you go. I have never gotten a server having a «bad day». I don’t know how they do it. I have been coming here for years, even before the changes in management. Their prices went up a touch since the change/reno but the portions and quality are still fantastic. Well worth it. They are clean with a small but charming atmosphere. I continue to choose Ninja every time i want sushi, even with all the competition for japenese food here in Langley. I have tried all of them and still find myself happiest at Ninja Sushi.

I stumbled upon this place with low expectations and can now say it’s my new favorite spot for Sushi. The place was really nicely decorated with cute private seating areas, they were playing beautiful jazz music and the food was outstanding. I had the Tuna Gomae Tar Tar and the Las Vegas roll. The presentation was unique — the Gomae was served with half of an avocado in the center with the spinach lining the outer edge of the plate and the roll was served in boat shaped pieces. Not only did it look amazing, but the taste matched. Service was attentive and friendly and they gave me a little fruit bowl for dessert on the house. The prices were a touch higher(not by much) but you get what you pay for. Will return.

I’ve relied on Ninja Sushi for years to be our default go-to sushi place and they’ve never ever let me down. The food is always delicious, orders are always correct, employees are always super friendly and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming. Will always be a return customer :)

I was pretty impressed by the quality of the food which I ordered being the lunch bento box with sashimi. The sashimi was fresh and their tempura batter was nice and light. Compliments to the chef. The server on the other hand needs work. Too slow on a slow day and didn’t give us our drinks until we had to ask for it 10 minutes after eating our meal. Most restaurants give water and tea right away without asking. I suggest training the server who worked June 29th, 2015 at lunch time then you guys will be golden.

We ordered take out from here for dinner last night. We had the spring rolls, chicken tender roll, and cherry blossom roll. The cherry roll was very interesting. It was a Cali roll topped with tuna and cherry. Delicious! The spring rolls were nothing special, but all the food was fresh and very good! I would eat here again.

We live quite close to Ninja and it is our second runner up for good sushi in the area. They have the standard sushi favourites as well as some hot rolls which are pretty good. Much better under the new management. We usually get take out so can’t really comment on the atmosphere and service.

I finally found a great sushi place in Langley. I had hwe bup bap which is spicy chirashi don. I love thier spicy sayce and the decoration. And the tempura and teriyaki was fantastic. The services good and the foods are awesome. When I went there, one of the customer had birthday party. And the owner’s wife played cello. You should hear it. This is the best sushi place in town. I will go there again.

Got takeout for the family the other night from Ninja Sushi. While I didn’t get to enjoy the dine-in service and atmosphere, what I can say is that the décor appeared to be modest, yet modern and the service was extremely helpful and friendly. Onto the food. Great sushi. Fresh, tasty and well-presented, even the takeout. I paid slightly more than I could have at the average neighbourhood sushi spot, but it was well worth it. I’ll definitely be back. My only complaints: 1. No website. I was referred to Urbanspoon to view a scanned copy of their takeout menu. I’d love to be able to view the menu, make reservations and place takeout orders on a website. If I have a big enough sushi craving someday, maybe I’ll just build a website for them. :) 2. They don’t accept American Express. Just let me pay how I want to pay.

New management with great customer service. Very welcoming, attentive and made sure my young kids had a good time providing them with toys while we get to enjoy the good food.

Great family place. They made us feel very welcome. The spicy sauce for my sashimi was perfect… flavourful and not over the top. Miso great. Prawn tempura great. I ordered the California roll for our 13yr old and decided to sample and we were both happy with the taste! There are only a few great sushi places in Langley /Cloverdale and this is one of them.

Great service! Food was good. It would have been exceptional if some of the sashimi(I think it was the hamachi, not sure) was a little fresher. Some of the pieces looked like they had a rough time with the sushi knife: P The ambiance was a tad confusing/schizophrenic. On one hand you have nice framed pictures of oriental art and hand drawn brush strokes but you are taking this all in while listening to 80s music and watching sports on tv. If you are going for the authentic Japanese feel, go for it. If you are heading for a newer hip Japanese sports bar, do it! Just don’t do both at once! :P Obviously, the last part isn’t a deal breaker — I would recommend this spot to all my friends!

New owner/management as of early March. Where Ninja was good before, it’s outstanding now. There is a new menu coming soon too. Chef Danny is superb at what he does and not only does his sushi taste wonderful, it looks beautiful too. The fish is fresh, and he crafts his rolls, sashimi and nigiri beautifully. Just the right amount of rice on the rolls and a generous filling. I recommend you come here. It’s the best sushi I’ve had in the Langley/Surrey area. And I’ve tried many!

We were staying in Langely, BC and were looking for a place for sushi that was decent priced. A few places came up and it was hard to choose which place to go to because some reviews were bad, some said they were too expensive for their quality or there were no reviews at all. We just went with our gut and chose Ninja Sushi because it wasn’t too far away at all. As soon as we arrived, we parked right in front of the door. It’s a cute little place, neat décor, nothing too much. We immediately got seated and had menus handed to us. There was a large selection of sushi, sashimi, and other cooked items and the prices were pretty good! We started with tea, miso soup, spicy deep fried shrimp, and went with the cucumber rolls, alaska rolls, dynamite rolls, tuna and salmon sashimi. Everything was great! We were full and the bill came to about $ 30 including tip! The one thing I didn’t love about this place was the table we got sat at it was a tiled table top, and I almost spilled my hot tea all over! Other than that, great prices, great selection, great service… I would highly recommend this gem! :)

The portions were amazing, and the variety of different and unique rolls incredible, but I found some of the flavours to be lacking. The food was good, would go back but my personal favourite in the area is still Kim Chi Palace.

Big FAT pieces of Sashimi. I don’t have to say much more than this, but I will… Ninja Sushi is a gem, tucked away in the H-Mart plaza, it’s surrounded by a few Asian restaurants, but it definitely holds its own! The service is top notch — quick and very friendly. The food is presented beautifully and more importantly, super tasty! I was most impressed by the size of their Sashimi. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Sashimi and I was presented 7HUGE pieces of fresh, melt-in-my-mouth Sashimi drizzled in not 1, but 2 different mouth-watering spicy sauces. I’ve also had the pleasure of trying a few of their rolls and they were all very good, great variety too. If you’re looking for great sushi on this side of the bridge, I can safely recommend Ninja Sushi =)
