You come to have an expectation of Subway restaurants in general, standards that should be observed from one restaurant to another. This location was visually nice, clean, smelled good(not just of bread), was empty all but two staff members. I walked in looking for an Italian BMT sandwich, no special requests, and was obviously looking to get out of there. The«sandwich artist» took her time and really ensured that she got the minutiae of the order correct before moving to the next step. I would really have appreciated this if the process was somewhat expedited but when it feels like my grandmother is making me a sandwich of ingredients that were completely foreign to her, that’s painful. Starting from having to take the sandwich out of the oven because she forgot to add a type of meat, to triple checking if I wanted lettuce — which I didn’t — to explaining the difference between hot banana peppers and jalapenos. Over it. The sandwich tasted alright, but not as good as it could have been. I think I was just soured by frustration and defeat. I mean really, when someone points to the banana peppers and says, «hot peppers please» you don’t have to stop what you’re doing and explain the difference in product. Anyways, if you have an hour for lunch and want to spend the whole time making and eating your sandwich, by all means head over to this Subway. But if your time is money and you have better things to do than to be lectured on the attributes of vegetables, then I suggest you rethink your decision.

If you’re in this neck of the woods and don’t feel like the Tim Horton’s next door, this is pretty much your only choice. Parking is plentiful as this unit is part of a brand new strip mall. The inside is very clean, but there isn’t too much seating to be honest. Most table are of the bar variety with 3 spots per table. Best to grab your food and eat elsewhere. There is technically outdoor seating here. 2 spots. Yay! Your best bet is to get the $ 5 footlong, if you want to save a few bucks. As for the taste, it’s pretty consistent with the other locations.
