Typical Tim Hortons. Ridiculously busy, and often get your orders wrong. Also very annoying how you just try to order a cup of coffee and they try to sell you everything else on the menu.

unless you go through drive-thru, the service is painfully slow especially during typical coffee break times for surrounding local businesses. they get away with it because they are the only tims around, but hopefully you’re not in a hurry when you stop in.

If you’re ever stuck in this part of Surrey(there’s literally almost nothing here), this strip mall is 1 of only 2 places within a couple of kilometres for food(the other being a Subway). Parking is plentiful in the lot out front. As this is a new building, everything is nice and shiny. The inside is decently-sized. Staff are pretty quick. My only complaint is that due to the layout, the lunchtime lineup piles out the door everyday. So you may want to go before or after 1200. The cashiers are efficient, but the food can take a few minutes or so.

This is one of the nicer Tim Horton’s locations that I’ve been to. It’s one of two open businesses(the other being a Subway [ ) at an otherwise vacant strip mall. This is the first Tim Horton’s that I’ve seen with a lounge area. At one end of the restaurant, there are 4 cushy chairs around two low tables and a fireplace and TV on the wall( ). I ordered the BLT sandwich combo with Earl Grey tea and a chocolate dip doughnut. I told them that it wasn’t to go, but the person who prepared my sandwich put it in a paper bag. The cashier then told her it was«For here» so she took it back and removed the wrapper and put it on a plate. They also didn’t give me my doughnut until I reminded them that I had ordered one. My friend, who ordered right after me, experienced a similar slip-up; she asked for her food«For here» but they still put her sandwich in a paper bag, and upon realizing their error, simply put the wrapped sandwich on a plate. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time and we weren’t in a rush, but I got the impression that the staff wasn’t entirely mindful of what they were doing and are prone to small mistakes. Why three stars despite these blunders? Well, the sandwich was good. I usually find Tim Horton’s food to be too salty but this wasn’t the case. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and the bacon was done right. It was actually one of the best Tim Horton’s sandwiches that I’ve ever had. My friend enjoyed her sandwich as well. The food was good but the staff should be a little more careful to minimize their errors.
