I find this place over priced for the location and portions but never the less great food. Very friendly owners and clean. Authentic good Greek food.

My friend and I decided to try this place out due to the Unilocal reviews and we were super happy! The owner was very friendly and helpful. Loved the music. The food was amazing and the price is good. I will be returning for sure!

Having the best Greek meal I’ve ever had in Vancouver. Amazing chicken, best potatoes, extremely nice and funny people, like being at home.

Great service and great food. We ordered chicken soulvaki and hummus dip as appetite. The food came out pretty quickly and tasted delicious. They are not always busy so if you are looking for a quiet space with great food in Surrey this would be it. I am not a pro at Greek food but everything here tasted very fresh and delicious.

I ordered take out once from this place. I love Greek food and was happy to have a Greek spot near by so I wanted to sample. The food was average at best but I wanted to give the place another try so my husband and our two small kids decided to go there for dinner on a weekday evening. It was busy but not slammed. The owner was rude to us right off the bat. He told the server to seat us in a dark corner separate from the other customers. I told the server id prefer to take one of the empty tables in the busier side because it’s nicer to sit in natural light with other customers lol. The owner was not happy. We could tell. We were simply made to feel very unwelcome. I’m not sure if we were treated so rudely because they were understaffed or because we had our two small kids with us, but after sitting uncomfortably with bad vibes coming in our general direction, we decided to leave and went for a delicious dinner at wild wing instead where we ended up spending $ 60 and were treated kindly. Sadly, we won’t be back. There are plenty of other establishments in Newton that are more deserving of our hard earned money.

Nice little Greek restaurant. It’s got a diner feel to it specially when you first walk in.
Came here with my family for lunch during a Saturday. It’s not busy at all and the servers were very pleasant.
I ordered their seafood chowder for staters and their chicken souvlaki for main. The food is pretty good! I wish I got the lamb souvlaki as it looked a lot more tasty.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. Excellent for family.

Went here on the recommendation. I had the chicken souvlaki which came with the best Greek salad I have ever had. Loved how the veggies were cut small not big chunks! The first bites, I knew I was in for a treat! The pita and taziki were also very fresh tasty, tho I would of liked a little more taziki sauce! At this point, I was looking forward to my meal as it was put down in front of me I felt like even the owner, the cook, the waiter knew this was true authentic Greek style and took pride in serving it! When he said enjoy I knew without a doubt that I was going to enjoy every morsel! The chicken had some kind of zesty sauce and the potatoes were perfect flavour! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

I had the veggie moussaka and she had the chicken souvlaki. It was absolutely delicious. The moussaka’s flavours melted in my mouth and took me back to Greece.
The waiter checked on us often with lots to talk about.
The only thing I could suggest they improve is the over powering music. I love music, but not if it impedes me conversations.

Best roast lamb I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Cozy place. Wonderful owners and reasonable prices. Will definitely return

This restaurant is not as she-​she as some but there is no doubt about the dedication to quality, authentic Greek taste and customer service. That’s why it gets five stars. It is impossible not to notice the fact that the owner and his family put everything in to producing a great experience which is what we had.
We were a party of 4 and had 4 dinners and an appetizer. Everything was hot, tasty and wonderfully prepared. Portions were ample. The favourites at the table were the calamari, the tzatziki, the potatoes and the Greek salad.
Service was attentive and friendly. Prices are a bit high but the value is there.

Happened to be in the area on a Tuesday night. When we arrived there were no patrons in the restaurant. Going with a Unilocal gut feeling we went in anyway and sure enough the food was very good. Each section of our Roast Lamb dinner had its respective sauce. Everything was well prepared and spiced independently. Two factors that contributed to the 4stars though, the roast lamb was served in pieces, like they were food scraps, broken down, sort of like pulled pork but in larger chunks. To date I’ve only seen this delivery in stews and sandwiches. The meat was lean so it was not likely the shank however it was well marinated and soft.
To compare, a Greek food court venue at Oakridge Mall serves a roast lamb meal which consists of the lamb shank– meat intact on the bone. Steffo’s in downtown does the same. Second factor, I was thirsty for 6 hours after the meal…(good sign there’s a good dose of msg somewhere).
The older gentleman– the owner (?) was very courteous. A bit unusual to dine good food quietly but this in its own has its merits.

This place is absolutely a diamond in the rough. I went at a very slow time of day (just after lunch). The owner made me feel like I was arriving home to the family. The Roast Lamb was completely void of fat (superbly delicious), and even the rice was super tasty. Best Greek food I have ever had. Finally made an account, just to make this my first review. Lovely spot.

Excellent food and great customer service. Highly recommend this place to people. My husband is a very hard person to please bit this place has become one of his favorites. Very impressed!

Had a family dinner here and everyone was impressed with the service and quality of food. Not too busy so the service was really good. Everyone tried something different and there were no complaints just compliments.

Such delicious Greek food! Was a pleasure to have saganaki served the traditional way, they set it on fire at the table with a shot of ouzo. Would definitely recommend!

Very good very authentic taste. This was a pleasant surprise. The moussaka is amazing along with the souvlaki both lamb and chicken. Great tasting Calamari. We did take out but I would dine in as well because the staff seemed real nice.

This place is great! Has a really nice environment and service. Took my girl friend here and we loved the place ever since. The best food they have is the Calamari.
The chicken souvlaki was tender and the sause on it was magnificent. Would recomend this place to anyone who likes great flavors on one plate.

Surrey is not known for their Greek cuisine, but this one is definitely an exception. The food is great, the service is amazing, and the owner is friendly. What else can you ask for?
I came across The Greek Corner through Unilocal,and with it’s great reviews, I’ve decided to come and give it a try. The reviews definitely don’t lie. The first time I came, I had the lamb souvlaki lunch. The lunch didn’t come with pita bread, but the owner was so generous to give it to me anyway. The lamb is tender and juicy. No funky smell at all.
The second time, I had the chicken souvlaki. I always try to stay away from the chicken because of the dryness, but this one is not dry at all. Ask for the special sauce they make in-​house. It goes great with the chicken.
We finally have some good authentic Greek cuisine in Surrey! Woohoo!
