You can’t go wrong getting a taco here. They are seriously delicious. The downside is it may take a while. If you have time, stay and eat a taco. If you don’t, just stay and eat a taco. You’re on island time. There is no rush.

The only negative about this place is the line-up… I tried the Asian tuna and the fried fish tacos. Delicious. Fresh, simple but well-done. I hear the breakfast burrito is pretty fantastic.

This place, by far, has the best burritos and tacos that I have ever tasted! I tried both the vegetarian and the chicken burrito and both were amazing. The vegetarian burrito was more flavourful than the chicken but damn was the chicken burrito good! The only taco I tried was the fish taco and I immediately knew that anything else I’ve ever tasted before that disguised itself as a fish taco was a poor excuse for a fish taco. I left feeling extremely full and I still wanted to go back and eat another burrito. I didn’t! But damnit I wanted to.

Fish burritos are my favorite here. A+ for the food. The VERYSAD thing is that that the line to order absolutely sucks. Expect to wait about 3 mins for every person standing in front of you. Not even kidding.

Be prepared for long lines at this tucked away food truck. Food was really good. I had a bit of everything, tuna, beef, fish tacos. All were amazing. Also tried the beef gringa(kind of like a quesadilla but better! Also tried the watermelon basil drink, very refreshing. I’m huge on food trucks using the freshest ingredients they can. And tacofino did not disappoint. The only negative is I thought the price point was a bit high. It was about $ 5 per taco and you need 2 – 3 tacos to be full. Also the lineups were crazy, I’d highly recommend ordering ahead. Which a local suggested. But I didn’t listen!

Tacofino, so good that I went back twice in my three days in Tofino. The place is located in a truck-like building in a complex outside of downtown. If you’re using a Rogers Cellphone, you’ll only have edge so make sure to check the address beforehand. The guy taking our orders was hilarious. He was a classic west coast surfer dude. Service is quick although you’ll have to wait several minutes for your order. We had the tuna and beef tacos on visit one and the beef and chicken burritos on visit two. The beef and tuna tacos were really good. I liked the tuna one slightly more but this is highly individual as my partner was more keen about the beef tacos. Admittedly, I agree that the tuna tacos felt like they had an Asian twist but that didn’t matter to me — it was really delicious. The burritos, while good, were kind of heavy and loaded with rice. The chicken burrito was really crispy and well done but the flavour punch isn’t as pronounced as with the tacos. If I were to go again, I’d definitely stick with the Tacos. Yum!

YES. My favourite place in Tofino. Came twice and would’ve came once more if my friend didn’t want to try out more new places. Tried their tuna and fish tacos, and a tuna burrito on the return trip. All were excellent, although the tuna taco tacos the cake! A big fan of the outside-seared-inside-rare tuna! It was drizzled in a delicious sesame oil and various Asian spices that were surprisingly delicious in a taco. Cheap eats, fast eats. Loved the feel of the food«truck»(is it still a truck if it doesn’t have any wheels and can’t move?) and the picnic benches. Tacos under the sun!

We really liked Tacofino. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. I highly recommend their fish burritos and the beef burritos. The fish are perfectly cooked, and crunchy on the outside. If you want something that isn’t as light, the beef was really tasty, it’s all about the sauce that the beef burrito is cooked in. I recommend the burrito instead of the tacos because of the portion sizes. Also, this restaurant is impossible to find from the road, you have to pull into a plaza and drive to the back, which is where you’ll find Tacofino. We went twice during our travels to Tofino.
