Crystal Cove Beach Resort

We just returned from a 5 day stay at the Crystal Cove resort. Our family stayed in a cabin with our two kids, and we had an incredible time. This resort was exactly what we were looking for.
First of all, it is situated in an incredibly beautiful area of the coastline, and the whole resort is just steps away from beautiful beaches and islands to explore. Our kinds LOVED climbing across the tidepools and exploring the nearest island just off the coast.
The cabins themselves are very well appointed, with full working kitchens. (A plus with kids who need food all the time). We had bunks for the kids and a separate loft bed for us. A hottub was just steps away off of the back deck, and we enjoyed it almost every day.
Downtown Tofino is just minutes away by car, and the whole experience ended up being exactly what we had hoped for. Clean, quaint, well appointed, incredibly well situated (from a location perspective), and I have to say that the staff was TOP NOTCH. They were attentive and professional, and invisible when you didn’t need them. We felt like we were staying in our own home.
I have to add one last example of ‘white glove service’ which simply made me want to ‘shout at the rooftops’ about my experience. Upon checkout, we rushed to get the kids packed up and whisked into the car. On our way to the airport, I realized that I had left a huge pack of smoked salmon in the freezer. (Oh NO!!). I called the desk — they said «no problem» and shipped it to me promptly back in San Francisco.
Go here. You won’t be disappointed. This establishment is top notch.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank JJ and the whole gang at CCBR, as it was one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at! This resort even has a Starbucks Coffee on site! If you’re ever going to go to Tofino this is the place for your family. Every cabin is nicely equipped with full kitchen, living room, comfortable beds and some even have a hot tub outside!

This place is the greatest place in the world its soooooo beautiful there. The staff and all the workers are really friendly. They keep the place looking amazing they have pro gardeners there so all the flowers and plants are beautiful. The also have a free wood room for people staying there. They have free coffee in the morning for if your going fishing. The accommodate to fisherman, they leave a gate unlocked for you if you have to leave early. All the spots are groomed and in pristine condition. They clean the bathrooms everyday and they are spotless, they also have hot showers.

We absolutely loved this resort. we stayed in late August and it rained for three of our five days but we made the best of it. Suited the kids up in muddy buddies and boots and played on the long soft sandy beach.
The people were friendly and helpful. The grounds were kept clean and gardens well groomed. The flowers were beautiful. Can’t complain about free firewood, coffee and ice. I enjoyed the Starbucks on the rainy days.

Crystal Cove Beach Resorts are fabulous all year round. My stay happened in early December and I’m convinced «Storm season» is is the best.
The friendly staff offer a choice of cozy cabins (try the rainforest cabins in the trees!) complete with fireplaces (lots of firewood), duvets and a full kitchen — some with hot tubs. There are also campsites for those with tents or RVs.
This resort is family & pet friendly with a playground for kids and a private sandy cove for swimming or surfing. Surf Sisters provides onsite surf lessons and boards for the adventurous. Call ahead and they’ll stock the kitchen with all your favourite goodies.
