Beautiful view, very accommodating service, and A+ overall. My wife and I weren’t planning on spending the night in Tofino, but by the time we got there from Vancouver, the sun was setting. At the end of the main road, we parked to check for directions and saw the view… we walked in to inquire about places to park, etc, and were just swept away by how nice the people were. They showed us the room, and the view sealed the deal. With the waves crashing below our feet, we enjoyed some coffee (which the hotel provided in the room, along with some of the softest towels), got some of the best sleep we had on our trip, and felt refreshed for the morning ride to Victoria. Thank you to Duffin Cove for helping us enjoy Tofino!

If I had to rate this establishment for the views, I would have to rate it five stars+.
I stayed on room 106. Super, super view from balcony! Wow!
The rooms are very clean, the staff is friendly and happy to please their guests.
The rooms are basic but comfortable. Ammenities are bare bones, but you are in a rustic fishing town which has turned to tourism as an additional source of income.
Should I ever visit Tofino again, I would definitely stay here. I suggest you do the same, based on my experience.

My husband and I arrived into Tofino a little later and had no plans for where to stay, and I’m so happy that we stumbled upon Duffin Cove. The women up front was really nice and gave us all our options for rooms. We were wanting a room with a view so she let us go to each room and pick the one we liked most. It’s a small room, but the view is beautiful and the bed is comfortable! Bumped into a gentlemen that’s been here since January and has fallen in love with his stay. Originally we were staying for one night but it’s turned into two… possibly three. Lol.

My wife and I are two nights in to our four night stay here at The Duffin Cove Resort and we are loving it! The room is cozy to say the least but has everything we need. The deck on or room looks out over the water and we have been blessed with some of the most mild October weather for the Pacific Northwest I can think of. The sunsets have been breathtaking… Shannon, who runs the front counter is super friendly and accommodating. She set up our whale watching trip yesterday on the fly and we were on the water in less than 45 minutes! Whitney, the resort’s mascot/​resident dog, is a great treat to meet as well. She has been enjoying the sun as much as we have. She also likes to follow you for more pets and scratches… This is a great get-​away destination place. We have been walking everywhere we need to go in town because it is absolutely near everything. It’s fantastic!

This place is a gem. Room are totally outdated and there are not a ton of amenities… unless you count the best location in Tofino, literally at the end of the road; walking distance to everything downtown and beautiful Tonquin Park; with its own tiny beach and Adirondack chairs scattered about for relaxing and enjoying the epic views. We couldn’t believe the one from our balcony.
