Got here and it was super packed, my coffee was burnt and the manager had the audacity to tell me where I can and cannot sit. Myself and a friend were told not to sit in a booth because it’s reserved for«families» yet once we sat at another smaller table, two other girls sat in the booth… Very rude, overpriced and i wouldn’t come here again just because i felt unwelcome

Tables are always cleaned quickly. Got an extra chocolate too! Only wish there was more seating. The place gets quite busy and people stay despite finishing their food and drinks already.

This place is really really busy. Came in on a Saturday afternoon. It was packed. It took 10 minutes to get a hot apple cider. One drink and it took a long time. The drink itself was ok. They advertised a cinnamon stick and a slice of apple with the cider, but they ran out. Was left with plain old apple cider. That was unfortunate considering that I paid a premium for it. The overall atmosphere was busy, and loud. A little bit hard to find a seat. Overall, this was an average experience that I was not very happy about.

Nice chain of coffee shops with a full line(i.e. breakfast to pasta dinners) of food and coffee. I’m no expert on coffee but it was good. The food is made fresh and quickly. Everything is pretty food so I think it was just the price that is a little high(i.e. a dollar or two more than it is at a lot of other good food centric-coffee places). Go for: a nice combo(coffee/espresso + food), quick service, decent décor Don’t go for: valued-priced coffee and meals

I’ve been to quite a few aromas, but this one was definitely a disappointment. I always get the power breakfast, and it definitely did not live up to expectations here. The bread was super dense, compared to other locations where it’s extremely soft and fluffy. Eggs were slightly burnt and over cooked. Salad was ½ the portion size compared to the York region locations. I will not be returning to this location.

Every single time I go to this aroma they do not take the time to modify your order as you have place it. I have went a total of 5 times and out of those 3 times they have messed up my order and I found a hair in my food twice and I work in the mall. Horrible service.

Being a coffee shop, this failed to impress even after so many tries. As a health-conscious restaurant, it’s great. Lots of food choices especially low-fat –high-protein diet. I’d go back for food.

Quick service and plenty of high quality hot and cold drinks. Wifi you can depend on, high end red chairs indoor and great outdoor patio. Love it!

Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Good to know: gluten free & vegan options What I ordered… Iced Americano(two long shots of espresso over ice) ~ would order again ~ love my espresso ~ Quinoa Salad(quinoa * tomatoes * cucumber * red onion * fresh mint leaves * grilled eggplant * no dressing [added with extra cost * grilled chicken * avocado]) ~ would order again ~ all the ingredients were very fresh and the chicken wasn’t dry ~

Usually love cappuccino there but today it was weak and just warm. Not happy since I got a large and paid so much for it. Also a friend of the owner got served before I was but he arrived way after me. Waited way too long for 2 coffees

Not a huge fan of this chain, but my choices in this mall were limited… Starbucks is usually my last choice. The staff was very friendly, but i don’t think their coffee skills(too hot, no art) or quality is up to the smaller establishments like Mercury, Manic, Rooster or Crema. Better than Starbucks, though!

I’m an avid coffee drinker nowadays thanks to my gf and her love for it so naturally I want to try new spots. Aroma is one I’m trying to get in to, but it always seems to fall short. Their drinks are made well at some locations and poorly at others. This one is in between the two. Staff here are decent at best and I find it takes 2 – 3 times longer to get my drink compared to Starbucks. The system they have down just doesn’t seem as refined. Another thing I noticed is several times I have ordered here or at the downtown locations they are out of stock of certain drinks. Once they told me they has no Earl Grey tea left in the café… what the heck!?! I’ve personally never had that happen at a Starbucks or even Coffee Time for that matter and Coffee Time is probably the most ghetto café still in business! Trust me I know I’m always around Lansdowne and Dupont! Overall I only come here for their chai iced tea, ither than that the coffee and food is much better at good olé Starbucks, I’m sorry to say.

My son loves the grilled cheese kids combo(but not the veggies in the side :). Sandwiches are made to order and regardless of the length of line up, the servers always greet you with a smile. Place is clean, coffee is great and the location is perfect; what more could you ask for?

Best chain café. Espressos don’t disappoint and soup/sandwiches are awesome. Service varies though bought after you order it has no impact on the environment.

I’ve been to quite a few Aromas, including this location at the Shops at Don Mills. The last time I was here they screwed up my order but I didn’t realize it until I got home and opened up the bag! Nothing worse than anxiously waiting to eat your dinner and then… half of it is missing :(The food is ok, but over priced for the portion size IMO. I haven’t eaten anything here that has knocked my socks off, but it’s fairly healthy options with some cool juice/ice tea combos and their pastries are pretty much the only reason I come back. Something nice and sweet and semi cheap. Actually their salads are not bad… you feel really healthy and energized after eating all those veggies. The sandwiches(you can get full or half size) are ripoffs b/c even the full size is a half size anywhere else. Save your money here and get the salads instead. They are pretty filling. The convenience of the location will make me a semi regular customer. In the summer it is nice because they have an outdoor patio, so always cool to sip some chai and people watch(oohh.is that the new Michael Kors bag? Did he just park his Ferrari in the handicap zone… you get the picture)

I like that the service is faster compared to some of the other locations that I have been to. Ordered a Mocha which is the best tasting IMO out of all the coffee shops in Shops of Don Mills. They use real chocolate bars, only sad part is you have to stir it yourself to make sure the chocolate is all melted and mixed in considering you’re paying so much for a drink already.

Had lunch here today(Sept 8⁄14). Had the BLT + an Espresso. For both the cost was $ 15.00 all in. Sandwich wasn’t too bad, bread was fresh but $ 15.00 for a sandwich & Sm. Espresso! Let’s get real people! Talking about large profit it with an $ 12.00 sandwich!

I tried the Ice Chocolate drink with a chocolate pastry(I really like chocolate). Anyway, the drink was okay… nothing too special. It was a little too chocolatey, but the pastry was pretty good. Fresh and yummy. My friend got the new mint iced drink and she says it was really good. Overall, not a bad place to come for coffee or a quick bite to eat. Although it is a little more on the pricier side.

Think Starbucks but with more healthier, fresh options. A place where you can kick back and relax for that 1 hour lunch break, or a quick study session as there is free WiFi available at this location. It is very busy during lunch time. You should allot plentiful time if you’re in a hurry. But do not worry, there are ample seating booths and bar seating for the busy business person. It is worth noting that they serve a healthy all day breakfast that does not feature regular pork bacon. In fact, there are no pork products at all at this place. The bacon they use is the leaner, Turkey bacon in their sandwiches and salads. The definite highlight are their sandwiches. I’ve had their steak, turkey BLT and grilled chicken sandwiches before. I also really like their breads, though even if you ask for toasted, it may come out as not too toasted so thus the bread is still soft in the center. You could also order your favourite cup of blended coffee such as espresso or mocha in various sizes. A great place to stop by for a quick lunch, or that after dinner coffee if Starbucks is not destination of choice.

Once again I’m here because of Jennifer K. — I feel like I’m stalking where ever she goes but then again shes been everywhere so I don’t feel so bad. Anyway, I don’t drink coffee on a regular basis so I’m no expert of how good coffee is suppose to taste. Got a Cappuccino and some kind of Cinnamon tea drink and 2 cookies. All this came to about $ 12. Holy crap, that’s a lot for just 2 drinks and 2 cookies.(That’s the cheap Asian within me speaking). When first glancing at all the pastries, I noticed some white colored cookies and asked what they were because they looked different. The staff began listing some of the ingredients for some reason…“sugar, flour, caramel, etc.” Once I heard caramel I was sold. The cookies were soft and powdery on the outside and broke apart easily and was filled with caramel on the inside. It was put together like a burger but picture the beef patties as caramel. 4⁄5 stars. The drinks were okay but I’m no expert 3⁄5 stars
