Have continued to frequent Bells since my last review, and the service remains as excellent as before. One of the reasons I enjoy living on the Danforth. As an aside, I can’t quite understand the logic of people who give Bells terrible reviews on the basis that Bells rarely takes new customers. These people have never used Bells, and so it’s unclear how they believe that they can review their service. This is a family business, the only extra help they have is occasionally from their sons after school, and the scope of their business is also limited by the size of their physical premises. Are they supposed to stop eating and sleeping to take on new customers? Are they supposed to put their finances at risk by leasing additional expensive space, even though they can barely handle the business they have? I would think people would be happy that a local business is doing well and simply find another dry cleaner nearby.

As others have mentioned, this place does not accept customers apparently! I walked in only to have a VERYGRUMPY old woman tell me I was not allowed to be there as there are NO new customers allowed! WTF? why are there signs advertising cleaning and repair etc etc??? False advertising I call it. I will never again set foot in that place and I recommend no one else does either. A BUSINESS? I think not.

First review ever for a local business I didn’t even have to step foot in nor spend money at.(You really don’t want my money? Awesome!) A phone call was enough to establish a bad first impression – well, try to dry clean that off! Will clean anything, as long as you’re an existing client. And for someone running a retail front, how does one become that? Do I need to become a member of a secret club? Because… apparently they DONOTACCEPTNEWCUSTOMERS. That was what I was told. What? What the fuck is this, a medical specialist? Not only am I stunned and scratching my head raw over this, hey, it’s an awesome way to lose business quickly and turn people off. What’s the bloody point? How do you run a fucking business then? Maybe they are a mafia front, I dunno. That’s too bad, especially when you’re frustrated searching for a place that will accept certain jackets and fabrics other cleaners won’t touch. You have been warned. Avoid and do not waste your time even contacting these strange folks.

On my fourth visit, the owner walked to the counter and said, «No new customers» I explained that I had been in several times before and he said«Not taking your business. No new customers. So sorry for you» I was stunned.

Spiro and Violeta are amazing! They are always willing to work with you on price and seem to give a discount the more items you bring in.
