I love this place — as with Kat F., I primarily use their balloon/​helium offerings. However, a quick stroll can unveil items both delightful and dodgy. In the former category, lots of AV/​phone/​cable at a discount price save a trip further afield. In the latter, foodstuffs and makeup dating from decades gone by also line the aisles.
Service is efficient, if not especially warm.

Who knew dollar stores could be so useful for party planning?
This place has all sorts of balloons on hand — birthday numbers, get well soon, congrats, etc. Helium fillups are $ 0.85 per balloon, which I think should be discounted if I supply the balloons, but whatever — convenience is key here.
Also, I believe one metre of ribbon per balloon is sufficient — I got three per balloon and it was quite unwieldy to transport.
Three stars for convenience, price and proximity to my home. None awarded for friendliness.
