Nice lady who works there. Helpful, knew her fabrics and was willing to lower costs depending on what fabric you picked.

Amazing staff, they’re younger and seem to be much happier than other fabric store staffs. I always find great fabric, and since I buy in bulk, they give great discounts. I love how they don’t charge for swatches.
Always check here first because their fabrics are often cheaper than the rest, and exactly the same. Love their satin, chiffon selection.

By far the best selection on Queen West. Not to mention, probably the best prices. Some of the stores along Queen West have good selection, except they charge $ 14.99/m for plain weave cotton! — Insane! For some reason I was under the impression that things would be cheaper along Queen than in Fabricland for example.
I definitely got a good deal today. I got some thin denim that was supposed to be $ 15/​m, but instead I got it for $ 9/​m. The printed floral cotton I got was only $ 2.99/m. What should’ve been a $ 40 total ended up being just under $ 25! I left quite happy.
One thing to be careful of is the girl working there. She’s there all the time. She’s young, probably in her mid-​late 20’s. She does do a good job helping, but can come across as rude because she’s got a bit of an edge to her. I don’t think she means to be, though. I must say that I did not appreciate her mumbling about other customers to me behind their backs. Not the most professional, but like I said, she did help me out and gave me a deal on material.

This was my 3 rd stop on queen street and apparently 3 times is a charm! I was greeted by a very nice young Portuguese lady, she was very helpful and patient. When she rang me up I was even more impressed, the price was ideal.
So all in all I would recommend this store it has a great variety of fabric and the service is great

I came in here looking for some fleece to make a blanket. I checked out a couple of the other textile stores on Queen but could find nothing that suited my needs.
Fabric by Designers, my last store to venture, deemed its self to be successful. I was greeted by a very nice a soon to be helpful lady. She was not only able to help find the fleece I was looking for but also gave me large discount because it was the last bit of fleece she had.
Overall great experience. This place only received 4 stars because compared to the other places nearing it, it may have lacked some selection.
