I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and I’m happy to say I have found my spot! I’ve tried soo many nail salons but nothing really impressed me. I always get a funky nail design which takes about 1.5−2.5 hours and they always do a great job!(There’s always a movie playing so I don’t mind the time and nail therapy is always good!) My go to girls are Mina and Kim. Best part of the experience is the shoulder massage after! *Best to make an appointment because the shop can be busier at times!!*

I’ve tried this place a total of 3x now — in an honest attempt to have the same great experience others have remarked about. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a great experience on any visit and therefore will not be back. I find that the ladies try to squeeze in too many appointments at one time. So you often sit feeling neglected and unattended to and have to wait until someone has a spare minute to do something for you(ex. I’ve sat so long with my feet in the water that they have gone wrinkly and the water has gone cold). This is even when I’ve made an appointment ahead of time. I will Say that the staff is friendly and that I appreciate the massage they give — but they do not offer of tea or water while waiting — or consideration to what is playing on the tv. The atmosphere is stark and there is usually a movie playing at loud volume — last time was a kids movie. Hardly the type of thing I want to watch at a ‘spa’. Now, I could overlook the lack of atmosphere and even the disorganization of staff if the quality was there. Again, this is the most disappointing part. When I had my shellack removed, the lady was in such a rush that she didn’t buff the top coat off properly, nor did she leave the clips on long enough to soak in. She ended up scraping my nails so hard that the tops were extremely rough and damaged when she was finished. In the application of my new coat of shellack she rushed through so quickly — didn’t ask if I liked the color(which I didn’t) and only did 2 coats. My nails clearly needed 3 as you could still see the white tips through the color. A quality shellack application lasts 3 weeks on me, but only one week week later my shellack is lifting on several corners of my nails. I will likely have to get it removed in a couple days. Maybe this place does depend on who does your appointment and how many other customers are in at the same time — but for me there are too many issues to spend my money here again.

So happy I found this place! Lovely, bright, clean and friendly atmosphere, and the girls there are so kind and accommodating. My manicurist did a fantastic job with the utmost attention to detail and perfection, I’m so happy! Also rare to see was that they turned away at least 4 walk-ins in the hour I was there; quality really does trump quantity(so make an appointment!) I’m so glad they have a loyalty program(a free treatment every 10)… I will be back. Often.

I left delighted, once again. Pedicure and a Shellac French were nothing short of perfect and every staff member was involved in my great experience. What I appreciated most is that all ladies play on each other’s strengths and float between clients to ensure everyone receives the best experience possible. Elly did a great job with my pedicure, Kim took meticulous care of my mani and a lovely young lady, whose name tag I didn’t catch, assisted me in transition between the techs, suggesting the best base colour for my oxblood red tip French. Salon was pristine, ladies were perfectly groomed from head to toe, sporting the trendiest nail colours on their own hands. Every single tool used on me either came out of a sterilized pouch or was a brand new disposable. The highlight of my visit was my Shellac manicure. Most places soak off your old colour by wrapping acetone cotton balls with foil. I find that method burning and extremely dehydrating for my nails. Glam Nails uses plastic clip-on tips instead. Another happy point: no drilling. Everything was filed off and buffed by hand, very gently. Why I was happy to return: — From being in hands of now 4 techs, it’s safe to say their attention to cuticle care is bar none — They freehand a deep smile line French as if precision brush is for cowards. This is the most perfect and quickest freehand French I’ve had this year. Thank-you :)

Had a great experience here! Had a pedicure– the service was great and I was even given a neck massage while my nails dried! Great customer service, clean & modern salon :) I found the pedicure a tad pricey $ 30, but I’m sure it has to do with their location being so conveniently close to Bloor St.

Best nail salon in the city(and I’ve frequented all the winners — lucky nails, pleasant nails, perfect nails. .. This beats them all). Shellac manicure lasts for a month and is impeccable. Foot massage, hand massage AND complementary neck and shoulder massage while you dry. A real gem for ladies who like to be pampered and expect quality. Great movies on the tvs too!

I tried Glam Nails today for the first time and had a great experience! A long-time hunter for cheap and clean nail salons, Glam Nails gets two thumbs AND toes up. The space is bright, incredibly clean and looks like a high-end nail bar. The staff are friendly, incredibly efficient and detail-focused. My manicure and pedicure were exactly how I asked and there were no messy edges to clean up. Both foot and hand massage were great; just enough pressure and as it wasn’t too busy, I was even offered a shoulder massage as my nails dried, great touch! There was a customer who had obviously been in before and was rather pushy with her timeframe and who she wanted to serve her. The staff easily maneuvered to fulfil her request without impeding the other customers experience. I will definitely visit Glam Nails again and if you’re in the west end, you should too! ($ 50 after tax for a mani/pedi)
