Its time for me to rebuild my wardrobe and I’m without a men’s clothing store at present. I did research on the brands I like and found this place carries many of them. Awesome! So I made the trip down totally pumped to spend a few hours trying on clothes and getting some new threads(I needed several pants, a blazer… I was prepared to drop some cash!) The staff pretty much ignored me, they looked like they couldn’t be less interested that I was wandering around aimlessly trying to find dress pants(they are upstairs). The stock they had of the brands I like were terrible. Weird pleats and pockets on some pants, another were awesome dress pants… with an elastic fabric cuff at the bottom. What? Who would wants a dress pant/jogging suit hybrid? In all fairness its following the holidays so maybe the staff is burned out and all the good stuff is already sold. I will give it another try, but today was not a good experience. I left empty handed, despite all my big plans to get pimped out.

So happy my friend brought me here. Although small in number, I absolutely love their collections and the staff couldn’t be more helpful.

We stopped in here the other day, mostly because I have never been before. I saw women’s clothes in the window, but upon closer inspection I would say about 80% of the assortment is for men. Lucky guys. The assortment actually appears to be well curated. The sales people were helpful — after about 90 minutes of fairly attentive service my bf left with a tux and a suit. I’m happy with the level of service we received. I wish they had more stuff for ladies, but I guess I have a ka-zillion stores to choose from so I shouldn’t be picky. Worth the visit.

I visited Gotstyle yesterday and ended up looking at some suits. They’ve definitely«Got Style»(ba dum dum). It’s quite roomy inside. The décor is mixed. Downstairs featured a hard loft feel, while upstairs was carpeted with regal wallpaper. The change rooms were set up nicely with easy access to large mirrors. They had a range of suits, ranging from the average to the upscale. Watch for their sale items. I got what I felt to be a good deal on some suits that were part of their 50% sale. The nicest suits that I saw weren’t on sale, but there were still some nice finds. The only thing that was troubling was the small range of sizes in many of the suits that I liked. I’m a 44 chest, and could only find a few in my size. Tia helped me with my suit purchase. She has a great attitude, a lot of poise, and knows her stuff. We were happy to have her there. I ended up buying both a suit and a tuxedo. I can’t wait to wear them!

Awesome! Just like the other location but with much more space. And what did they do? They incorporated some top notch women’s clothing. My girlfriend went in to get a suit and the service and selection was fantastic. Would go back! While I was there I bought a shirt for myself and they agreed to tailor it and send it off to the other location(since it is closer to my house) when it was ready. Great service!

A toned down version of the king street location, GotStyle is a great store primarily for the service you receive. It’s definitely not for everyone — there is a price tag attached. But if you shop at places like Holt Renfrew or even the Bay then this place is considerably better in my opinion. The reason — the sales agents are just better. They have pretty good sales twice a year, which is when I tend to go but sizing is obviously an issue at those times. I appreciate that they carry various price points in the mid to high range. Overall, I wouldn’t get my formal wear from here. That’s just me personally. I’d rather go to the U.S. and pay half the price for the same quality. But if you can’t do that, they have an excellent selection and great tailors. You can find cheaper tailors in Toronto, but at least at GotStyle you don’t have to go through the hassle of finding the right tailer. You can trust the store. They have an excellent selection of casual clothing and interesting and cool clothing pieces too. This is definitely a go to place if you’re anything like me and don’t know how to buy jeans. My last visit at the store, Jannette spent a great deal of time educating my friend and I on how to dress. We left the store uncharacteristically self aware of ourselves, but really, we learnt a great deal in the process.
