I wanted to update my review of this club last year but I feared of catching herpes just thinking about it. Whatever gravity was doing wrong before, it seems they’ve moved forward greatly in that same direction. Revisited this disgusting and grimy place for a friend’s birthday. didn’t really want to but bottle service is cheap here and we’re poor, so. Anyways– the bottle service price promised line bypass as soon as it hit 11pm? Our group of 20 waited outside the door in the freezing –20C weather in mini skirts and flimsy shirts, huddling and trying not to catch hypothermia until 11:30pm while the bouncers were chatting and saying how it wasn’t ‘THAT’ cold. The bouncers and security guards are complete jerks here and somehow they get off on the tiny amount of power they’re given as the ‘door guards’. We finally got in and it smelled heavily of B.O. and weed. our table was disgusting and couches looked like somebody had a fun time on them. I was SUPER uncomfortable sitting here. The crowd is barf-worthy! Douchey freshly legals and disgusting smelling rejects of scarborough like to frequent here(don’t get offended, that’s just the demographic) They all line up in their little groups against the bar and creep the girls as if they’ve never had human interaction in their life. Somehow people are allowed to smoke INSIDE the club and soon, the entire club filled with a thick heavy smoke that made it very hard to breathe. Not sure if that’s legal, but that can impose some serious complications, especially for those who are allergic to smoke. The washrooms are also ridiculously dirty and dark, and as I said in my last review– inviting club frequenters to do some lines easily. Also a random woman standing in there selling lollipops for $ 3. Not sketch at all. Needless to say, I will NEVER come here again! :)

$ 20 cover for Friday night. Washrooms are terrifying! Dark or dirty. Make your choice. First time here and though I had an awesome time. I wouldn’t come back. The one star is because I can appreciate the different rooms with a variety of music to choose. Second star is for the fact the radio station z103.5 plays here.

$ 15 dollar cover, liqs are super expensive. The only plus side was the fact that there are two rooms, which allows people to hear whatever type of music they enjoy.

This club used to be called«City» and«Frequency» and now it is Gravity. Regardless of the name, it still all looks the same inside. I went here for a friends birthday and we had booked VIP Bottle Service for a great night out. We paid $ 500 for 2 bottles and usually the term«you get what you pay for applies.» However this was not the case here. First of all we asked for more mixers to come with our bottles but the server politely tells us that we were only allowed to have a maximum of 3 mixers… okay no problem. But for $ 500 you would think they could give us a $ 5 jug of pop just for fun but hey… I guess you need to cut costs somewhere these days. Our table was not properly set up with the essential lime wedges, shot glasses, and basic cups as well. I had to ask for lime wedges three times and extra shot glasses several times. Our bottle service girl was no where to be seen after she took our money. I dont expect much from bottle service girls but at least come and check up on us once in a while… we just gave you a 15% tip on top of overprice bottles. Our booth was dingy and we were sat in a corner room that had weird chains trying to seperate the other booths… it was really weird. You can truly tell that this place is poorly managed by the way they set up the lines to the way their staff treats their patrons. Go somewhere else if you are looking for a good nigbt out.

DONOTGO It’s actually so disgusting at Gravity. When you walk in it feels like a basement and has that weird damp feeling. The bouncers are absolute dicks also. We were there for someone’s birthday and the bouncers told us no event was booked. We found out the manager was not at the club so we could not prove to these bouncers there was an event until the manager finally decided to show up(it was January too, very cold) Lots of trashy people and gross creepy guys. Just absolutely awful.

This place was tolerable when it was City, and now it’s just a sad waste of time. Went for Euro last Wednesday, and they did not play one Euro song(it was just old songs). How can you advertise Euro Wednesdays? Furthermore, it was cold that night, but the coat check girl didn’t show up to work and I argued with the bouncer about what to do with my stuff. They let me keep it with them. I asked them as soon as I saw that there was no coat check if I could leave and just get my money back, but of course they said no. After listening to garbage music(and the crowd was of course the same) for some time, my friend and I ended up leaving to another club.

This is the same club as ‘City’, they just changed the name. Interior and music is exactly the same. Saturday night meant a long line-up. Bouncer let us skip the line for $ 10 each(pretty cheap in terms of paying off bouncers). Promoters outside were handing out coupons for discounted cover. So cover only ended up being $ 10 on top of the bouncer fee. Music was Top 40. Lots of young fresh college kids. Fun crowd, not too creepy. We were having a great time until my friend HADHERDEBITCARDANDPHONESTOLEN. Not blaming it on the club, just something to be aware of when you go out in T.O. This place is not my main hang cause it’s full of sorority girls and frat boy types. But if that’s your scene, then for sure, check it out!

Came into town for a few days and decided to blow off some steam at this place. It was a Weds night and I didn’t expect it to be packed. I like the fact there is a packing desk across the street, only $ 10 for the whole night. Outside appearance it looks pretty cool. Bouncers at the door weren’t too bad. I got in without any problems. First impression inside, the crowd was a mix of little girls looking for attention, and a lot of younger guys fresh out of college. The bar was decent and the bartenders were super cool, fast, and friendly. I had a ton of jack and cokes all night and ended up with a bill over $ 100 dollars easy. The music was definitely on point, there was a live to air show Z1035 with Tony Monaco. The décor and condition of the club was pretty rough. Definitely needs some work. Im not too crazy about having a speaker right above my head. Sound quality has to be updated. You get 4 stars for bar tender quality, music quality, and good mixed drinks… Décor, Pricey Drinks, and crowd mixture are the negatives.

DONOTGOHERE. I lost a lot of respect for this place and do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a night out! The bouncers have no respect. Well it was technically one bouncer but its a representation of the the company. I had bought a ticket for a New Years Pub Crawl and this place was on the itinerary. At around 11.20pm, me and my friends wanted to leave the club, they would not let us leave. The bouncer began to push me and my friends around as if we had done something wrong, all we wanted to do was leave to go to the final bar on our crawl. Rather then letting us out to enjoy our night, we were pushed around verbally insulted for trying to leave. I understand New Years would make the place busy but there was no structure set up by management. It is not our fault there is a line outside and people are trying to get in. They should have had an exit area prepped. The employees were not aware of what was happening. We tried to leave using other exits and they all kept telling us to use the front door. The bouncer on NYE that was on front door duty at the time would not let us, even though all the other employees told us to use the exit. Not only did he waste our pub crawl and ruin our night. He had the nerve to put his hands on us. Finally at 12.15am we were able to leave. I looked the bouncer in the eye as I was leaving that his actions were highly unprofessional and he repeated to me over and over, «F*** you, F*** you, F*** you, F*** you, F*** you.» Real classy Gravity SoundBar. TDLR; All we wanted to do was leave your establishment and instead we faced entrapment and got assaulted by a bouncer to stay at your club ruining New Years.

I was there for a Hot 97 party on August 2 for Caribana weekend. That place was a sweatbox. SOHOT. The reggae room was even worse. Yuck. The DJ was good but they were guest DJs. The crowd was okay. The chicks were all pretty wack so no wonder the guys were SO thirsty. I mean more than I have ever experienced before. The venue seems decent besides the heat. The light show thing above the DJ was cool but it was small and packed. Afterwards it was quite a mess outside trying to leave. Overall it was ok.

Went here on a Friday night during which z1035 was live to air. It was extremely crowded, and the line to get inside was long. It was freezing outside, and we had been waiting close to an hour. Finally, my friend decided to pay the bouncer to let us skip the line. If he hadn’t we would’ve been waiting for much longer and probably wouldn’t have got into the club anyway. I’m happy to report that it was worth the wait. The place was awesome. The music was absolutely fantastic. There wasn’t even a second where we had to pause or were not dancing. The crowd was live, and the energy in that place was insane. I had a fantastic time, and would have had a perfect night had I not lost my phone on the dancefloor. I’m definitely going to return here.

Went to my bestie’s birthday party last night, and had bottle service. In terms of the service itself, it went smoothly and I had relatively no complaints. We overall had a fun time as well with the music being played(Wayback Wednesdays yo!). However, an event of concern happened early in the party. A lady managed to jump past the bar and into our sofa where our booth is, and spilled most of our drinks. She also proceeded to almost punch me(which I stopped her by pushing her across the booth), then she started hugging some of my other friends before we got security over to escort her out. Not only did she annoy us, she also annoyed the three other booths that were being used. The scariest part about it? She was an employee of the bar! Though security managed to confine her upstairs at the end. Interesting experience I must say…
