If there’s one beauty related indulgence I have it is on skincare. I have been to almost every top rated spot in Toronto to get a facial, and I have to say that I find the facials I get from Guerlain to be the best I have experienced in Toronto. I am honestly astonished that I am the first to review their facials! They are clean, thorough, and relaxing.
I have unfortunately forgotten the name of the lady who usually does my facials, but she has been great every time. During the consultation she is always very knowledgable and explains what she is going to do to your face and why. I have sensitive combination skin that tends to develop a lot of blackheads, requiring a lot of extractions. Most spas manage to pluck away painfully at a few, but at Guerlain I find the best results: she has told me that she can eliminate all of my blackheads if I come back regularly enough (unfortunately, because I am back and forth between Philadelphia and Toronto, I have been unable to take her word for it, but I do believe she’s telling the truth). However, she explained that I would have to add some effort into my home routine as well, and gave me great exfoliating/​face wash advice that I have incorporated into my home routine with great results. The practical information that she provides is very appreciated it, as I think it is important to have an esthetician who cares enough to want you to see long term skin improvements long after the facial is complete.
Another great thing for those who are interested, she has offered to thread or wax my brows during the extraction phase of the facial which many spas seem to shy away from.
The facial is not cheap and there is some attempt by her to sell their absurdly expensive Guerlain products (which are pretty good, but I have a few cheaper favorites that I prefer), but all in all there is no pressure to purchase and I do not feel as though the facial is an advertisement for their products (the way Pure and Simple made me feel!). Best of all I have never had a bad reaction or pimple break outs.
Be sure to book your appointment in advance because she does book up rather fast! I would recommend booking a week in advance, but if not I would try anyway as they sometimes they have room to squeeze you in if someone cancels.

I have bought multiple makeup beauty products here, which I am very satisfied with. They give my skin a lively clean and natural tone without making my skin texture look like rotting zombie skin. It’s like real life photoshop! I especially like their eye shadows and lip glosses as the colours really pop and brighten up your appearance.
I’ve done my makeup here once and the makeup artist did a fabulous job. I had to take obligatory mirror pictures afterwards because it was really that good and I’ll never look this gorgeous again. But it was too pricy and I don’t intend on doing it again. It is appointment only.

I came here for a make up event a couple of months ago and i was initially hesitant for anyone to do my make up becuase I generally don’t like people touching my face.
The make up artist they had in was actually really good! My face looked flawless and I loved all the products she recommended, especially the liquid gel eyeliner that I now use everyday!!!
I would recommend coming out to their events wher you also get a discount on their products. If that is not enough to entice you, the free champagne will:)
