A small perfect Egyptian belly dance school.
After a few years of classes at one school, I branched out to classes and workshops around town.
Two classes at Habeeba’s and my technique had leap-​frogged! I was amazed. Moves I thought I couldn’t do, styles I thought I didn’t like … kaboom … Habeeba changed my mind.
Habeeba is a truly gifted instructor — really watches her students and is extraordinarily aware of what everyone in the room is doing — very proactive re preventing injury.
Habeeba is particularly gifted in developing choreos to work with her individual students’ strengths. I had always admired her troupe’s shows at the CNE. Now I know why they are so good.
The studio itself is a wonderfully warm space, with a variety of other classes offered, TTC accessible.
Super love this place and the classes offered.

A wide variety of classes are available from Egyptian bellydance with Habeeba to Argentinian tango, tribal bellydance and yoga. Beautiful studio, well priced classes, and easy to get to by the TTC. Highly recommended!

Habeeba’s Studio is a wonderful space to learn and practice in. Conveniently located along the TTC (Dundas street car to Jarvis), too.
Not only are there a variety of classes Habeeba offers in Egyptian bellydance, but there is tribal bellydance, Argentinian tango, yoga, and other disciplines there, too.

I started taking classes with Habeeba in June 2013 after training in Egyptian belly dance for more than 3 years. Habeeba is extremely technique oriented and is touching base on topics I have never encountered before. With only one class a week I’m improving immensely and it’s obvious I have so much to learn from her.
I see what she has achieved for the dancers in her troupe and that’s proof enough for me that I’m taking classes at a quality dance school.
The studio itself is a great atmosphere and everyone is friendly. I highly recommend this studio for anyone whether they have never taken classes or have been for years.
