Gluten-free review: This LCBO is great — large, well lit, friendly staff and a good selection. Their cider section in particular is quite impressive. Other LCBOs will stock only 3 – 4 different kinds but this one has at least 10. Every other time I come here they have a new cider I’ve never seen before. They also stock a couple of different gluten-free beers as well. Their wine selection is good too, especially their vintages. I’ve picked up quite a few wines here to take as hostess gifts and they did not disappoint. They also have a moderately sized parking lot in the back. It probably has about 20 – 30 spaces. I’ve never seen it full though so I don’t think parking would be an issue.

Am I ever lucky to live near this LCBO! It’s big and shiny, a drastic improvement over the grungy little LCBO in my old hood. I’ve been in twice and no line up either time. There’s parking(not that I need it for my bike). It’s conveniently located right on Queen, near a streetcar stop. But most importantly, it has the best selection of beer I’ve seen outside of the Summerhill LCBO. A large craft/micro section with many seasonals and rare brews you can’t find at every LCBO. I went in two days in a row and found amazing things both days. Definitely the place to go in the area if you’re a beer nerd like me.

Aw yeah. A nice BIG store full o’ booze. That’s the way i like it. I much rather stroll to this LCBO than the equally close but teensy LCBO along Queen in the Beaches. This lovely location is convenient for the transit takers with the 501 streetcar. It’s also got something very hard to come by in this neighbourhood, a parking lot(a parking lot!!) They’ve got a nice BIG selection of wines, vintages, good beers(internationals, organics, local brews) and of course the hard stuff too. Everything is easy to find and spacious. Plus there are a few chilled sections for pre-mixed stuff, beers and those sugary crap coolers which is really nice. I’ve never had to wait more than a couple mins to check out either. Thumbs up. Get in, get the yummy stuff, get out.

With a hunk of cheddar on my back and a mouth full of hay, I trotted over to my local LCBO for a variety pack of 500ml beer cans. I chose some German beers, Crest Super being my top choice, 10% ALC. friends! It’s such a wonderful spring day, fun is in the air. Short pants for women, loud music, and a new birth of styles. Parking lot was full, and there was a line up outside of Priest Burger, fukengruven! I dig that the LCBO gives away Food & Drink magazines: isn’t Peri Peri supposed to be spelled P-i-r-i P-i-r-i? I’m loving Anna Olson, how does an avocado daiquiri sound? Man, I’m easy to impress… LCBO, endless fun, go to your nearest location.
