Burger was awesome and love the Mascot Pilsner, as it is quite different from my idea of a traditional Pilsner. Come early to avoid waiting forever in line: P

Really fun place to sit outside in the summer on a nice day. Loved meeting friends here after work or on a weekend afternoon. It’s a nice change of pace from sitting inside or on a patio on the street since this place is on a rooftop. A lot of the seats are wooden picnic tables with umbrellas and the atmosphere is relaxed. Limited food menu, but the burger & fries were yummy and we were all happy with it.

Great atmosphere and just the right amount of hipster vibes. Reminds me of a typical Chicago rooftop bar. Great variety of beer — had my favourite local lager — Woodhouse Brewery.

I went there on a Tuesday and it was pretty crowded for a weekday. We had made reservations for 12 people on the patio which they did quite willingly. But when we reached there, they told us that they dont have one large table for 12 people and we got a table that could seat 6 and no other table was free at the moment. Umm, ok. so can we add more chairs to the table and they said they dont have more stools and they would have to ask people on bar to give up their seats for us. We gave up and decided to stand ultimately. Through all this ordeal, the waitress were very nice and helpful but they could not do much. Also, you cannot ask for separate bills so we decided to order from bar or give the money upfront to waiter when we ordered. So it was not a very convenient experience for us. I went there after work so I ordered this tomato salad with tortilla since I was very hungry. It was way too soggy and had only 2 tortillas. It does look like a mini oasis and is always crowded due to their location and patio which is pretty good. But I would rather go to Oasis if I am in a large group than come here.

I think I can finally understand all the hype and crazy line ups for rooftop patios. Came here for a friend’s birthday on a Saturday night and really liked the rustic décor and live atmosphere. The space is on the smaller side and filled up quite fast so be prepared for longer wait time if you don’t arrive before 10:30. With a $ 10 cover(free cover before 10PM!) that also includes access to a club in the middle floor — good option for the party animals. One complaint was that the female bartender was unfriendly and looked extremely grumpy during our various trips to the bar. I also wouldn’t recommend ordering the beer kegs because our beer turned out to be quite flat. However I had an enjoyable experience overall and can see myself visiting again!

Came here for a friend’s bachelor party and was really blown away. For the first part of the night we hung out upstairs on the patio having beers and mingling. It might be the nicest patio in Toronto. Later in the night we headed straight down to the middle floor which is a club called«Odd Thomas». We ended up staying until after closing. Great music, great atmosphere… and at any point we could run upstairs and catch our breath on the patio. It’s kind of a badass setup. Would definitely recommend for group parties or random Friday nights.

The space is incredible. It looks good, the picnic tables are comfortable, lots of places to get some shade, and lots of places to get some sun. It’s right downtown, but it is a quiet little oasis. I really like that the prices of pints include taxes. So that $ 8 pint here with taxes in is like a $ 7.07 pint somewhere else, not bad really, not great but not bad. It is not without it’s issues. 1) They claim to be a ‘brewery’ but they brew nothing themselves, from my understanding that’s subcontracted to Duggan’s for the brewing… so it really isn’t a brewery like Bellwoods, it’s just a name. 2) They are often out of their namesake beer. It’s hard to judge a ‘brewery’ when you can’t try their beer. 3) I am not the type to get hyperbolic about things, but this was some of the worst service I’ve had at any bar in Toronto. The standard of service at Toronto bars is rarely very high in the first place but this was something else. On my most recent visit we seated ourselves around 5:30 waited about 15 minutes to be greeted. At this point the server stopped by very quickly to drop off menus and let us know what was on tap but didn’t stick around long enough for our drink orders, even though we were ready to order immediately. The server told us about the Mill St. ginger flavoured beer they had on tap, my friend’s response was«oh that sounds good, can I have one of those» but the server was gone before the sentence could be finished. About 10 minutes later we got to order, and another 10 minutes later we got our beers. I am not sure if the servers are over worked or what. I would be understanding if the servers were just super busy. It happens from time to time and I am willing to wait. But here it seemed like there were 3 servers serving the entire patio, while there were 3 bartenders just standing around pouring drinks for the servers occasionally. Also, there were many people just kind of hanging around the food truck area, including a guy who was using a GoPro to film everything the staff did. I guess he needed video evidence that people were actually getting work done? Anyway. I hope they get their shit figured out because having a big patio close to work would be great for the summer.

The atmosphere is great, the rooftop patio has some tastefully tacky AstroTurf with picnic tables(umbrellas included). Pricing is a little above reasonable, even considering the location: $ 8 for a «pint»(14−16oz) does not sit well with me. However the food menu has some great looking items, which I have yet to try. One of my tablemates wants all y’all to know that they do make a pretty wicked Caesar. More to come…
