We had our work holiday lunch at this location. I have been to two other locations prior to this, I would say this was my least favorite experience. We had a reservation for 12pm for about 70 people. We get there on time everyone gets seated and I kid you not they had one girl for all of these people. Their set menu did not have a vegetarian option on it which in 2015 is absolutely insane so they ended up doing a cheese and tomato flatbread for us veggies(more on that to come). So one girl has to take all these orders. A few staff delivered the drinks and food. It took an hour and a half to get our food, we were supposed to be out at 1pm. The flatbread was so mediocre and after about halfway through you get so sick of it because it was garlicky. The other flatbreads I have had at the other locations are really good, full of veggies. Oh and my work was paying 24.00 per person, this bread was worth 10.00 and that’s being way generous. The salad that came as an appetizer was about the size of my palm, a salad size fit for a 3 year old. The dressing was nice but I had also been waiting to eat for about 50 minutes so I could have been just hungry. Saved the best for last, my work hadn’t been clear that drinks were not covered and the waitress didn’t tell people when they ordered that they would be starting a tab for them for drinks. So a few people left without paying for drinks. My table was settling up and the waitress was so flustered and I was offering help by figuring out who didn’t pay. She yelled at me and my three co workers! ‘your work should be more clear with you about what’s covered!!!’ and then she took off never to been seen again. I work for an extremely reputable company. The entire bill was paid, including the drinks that the people didn’t know they had to pay for. As if we would just leave without paying. I think the real issue is your company knew they had a holiday party coming and allocated one staff member for 70 people. Long story short, do not get the cheese and tomato flatbread and don’t have such a large party here.

not bad. Slightly different from dundas/yonge one.

Went to 3 Brewers for lunch with colleagues and was wowed by their beautiful patio. Sadly my excitement only lasted for 30 seconds before my heart was broken into tiny pieces — they could only accommodate our group inside. We spotted a few small open tables. We offered to split up… anything for a spot in the sunshine. Denied again. We headed inside to the back room whose windows allowed us a nice view of the patio. That counts for something, right? The menu had a great selection of food and drinks. I ordered a ceasar and their flatbread pizza. Fast-forward 30 minutes and we were still without drinks(or waters). Dehydration was kicking in and our server was MIA. Our food and drinks finally showed up 40 minutes after we arrived. The food was tasty but I’m pretty sure they served us the saddest ceasars in Toronto. I mean throw in a stick of celery or something. Have some pride in your ceasar garnishes(full disclosure — I had a sip before snapping the pic). Anyway, I digress. Meal was decent. I just felt bad for my colleagues who finally got their pints 5 minutes before it was time to head back to the office. TL;DR: Food was good. Patio looked great from my indoor window seat Saddest ceasar in the city Service could have been better. It’s lunch time in the financial district. I know it’s busy, but come on. At least give us waters while we wait.

Fairly new place. Been going there a few times recently since it’s at my work. Good beer and close proximity is a deadly combination. The décor is nice. Good spacing on seats. I never once have to always move my seat because of the waitresses constantly needing to pass by. Had the 3 brewers burger with a ceasar. Burger was a little dry. Ceasar could use a little more dressing or quantity. I have had all the different beers. Always have gone for the brown. Didn’t like all other flavors.

I’ve been to many restaurants for drinks with colleagues and this was the weirdest encounter I’ve had so far — really unprofessional. I would not come back here. I came here to meet up with my boyfriend and a group of his colleagues. This place is right near their office and is apparently one of their go-to places for after work drinks. It was very quiet when I arrived, as it was Friday night and this must not be a hot spot for going out. There were about 15 people there from the company, varying in ages of 25−55ish. Everyone was just sitting and drinking when a waitress came over and took my order. After she left one of the guys told me the waitress had been rude and then cut him off from drinking… but then allowed him to get another drink a little while later? This seemed weird to me since he didn’t seem drunk at all, and normally when someone is cut off they don’t serve them again. My suspicions were that the staff wanted to close since it wasn’t too busy, and this larger group(we were one of the only ones left) was causing them to have to stay so they were annoyed. I didn’t see anyone being rude to the wait staff or doing anything out of line, so when someone asked what was going on and why we were being treated rudely, the manager came out. He was very rude, and asked us to leave. I couldn’t really hear what he was saying, but he was yelling at the senior manager from the firm and the rest of the group… who were not yelling back. It was the weirdest thing… so we packed up and left and went to Drake 150. I do understand that sometimes groups get roudy and drink too much, but having never met these people before and arriving completely sober, I couldn’t understand why the bar kicked us out so rudely(you can be professional about it if there actually is a problem). I also understood that my boyfriends company comes there often and spends a lot of money, so that’s unfortunate for the restaurant that this won’t be happening anymore. I would not recommend this place for any company events, or after work drinks. I will not be back for sure!

Amazing patio away from the Adelaide street traffic. Sun was out during lunch so it was freshing at the front if the restaurant. The tables in the side patio didn’t get much love from the sun. I’ve been there a few times and there is a wide selection of food and beer. If you are not sure about your beer preference, the wait staff can offer you a couple of samples until you narrow down n your favorite. In terms of food, I’ve ordered the mushroom check, pork shank and chicken bacon poutine. The tables in the back of the restaurant were nice with an open ceiling where there are more than 8 tvs so everyone can find one with the right angle. The wait staff were very patient and friendly. Definitely a place to check out. Beer specials for a half pint are offered between 3 to 6.

The BroDate of BroDates which was not totally Bros but the venue was a top choice. I rarely go Financial District after work for drinks/food but more and more of my friends work there and I eventually will relocate there. My friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Opened in November it still has that very new feel. They have a patio out front but don’t expect any sunshine on there after work, only the side section will get hit with rays. On entering you get to see the tanks in which they make some of their beer. First impression was this place is a bit narrow and could not see a table that would have seated my group of 12. However I was led to the back where it soon opened up into a very nice two floor area. The seating was great, and the place was not super packed. The waitress recommended a wheat beer which I soon consumed hit a double for. The menu is a newspaper style, clear and with a good selection of items. I went for one of the specials which was a 3 sausage dish with roast potatoes. Was not blown away by this and although the portion was decent I just got bored of it and gave up. The waitress was great, offered to split the bill for each person and kept an eye out for those who had finished their drink. Would definitely come back here again.

The 3 Brewers have been increasing the number of different beers on tap. While the drinks are often enjoyable with a group of friends or coworkers, I would give the food a pass. The service also needs some improvement. It’s not unusual to sit for 5 – 10 minutes before someone shows up to take the order.

Nice spot. Popped in for a quiet lunch at the bar– good IPA, decent food but most notable for the great and friendly service. Thanks!

I welcome more pub-style space in the financial district because the seemingly permanent lineup at the dear old Duke of Devon brings incredible ennui to all PATH-dwellers whether they wanted a dingy pint after work or not. This new 3B is not only dinge-free but is quite pretty! It’s an impressive, bright and open space with lots of natural light – and being PATH-accessible, it’s nice for winter lunches since I am sure most people working in this area miss out on sunlight for most of the work week when the days are short, but wouldn’t want to deal with the hassle of bundling up and being cold mid-day. Three Brewers focuses on beer and the type of food you want to soak up your beer before heading back to work. Before I went all gluten-free, I recall their flammkueches(their flatbread/pizza variation) are pretty tasty with some interesting topping options, and their fries, burgers, etc. are all decent. They have a few healthy options and some more nutritious entrees(salmon with rice, etc.), although if you have dietary restrictions it’s not the best choice. Service is what you’d expect for a corporate-type place: efficient, reasonably friendly. Overall, a good addition to this area of town if you’re looking to bitch about your coworkers with the coworkers you happen to like at the end of the day – but nothing to write home about!

Just went here for the first time. It was hard to find on a web search, so their marketing department has some work to do… More importantly, the beer was good. Definitely do a sampler so you can see what they have to offer. The food was fine, but clearly the beer is the star here. Our waitress said they plan to open a patio in the spring — that will make this a must stop place after work for me.

Great location and very well appointed. Since it looks kinda Keg-like, I was expecting Keg-quality food. However, what I got was Spaghetti Factory quality. Mussels came drowned in a super thick tomato sauce. I don’t know what it tasted like, but why would you ever do that to something as delicate as mussels? Italian burger was shit. Shit bun with ho-hum burger, shit tomatoes and some other shit. Overall, kinda shitty. Another person ordered a flatbread thing and it was the most intensely red food I’ve ever seen. I kept looking for some sort of red light beaming down on it because normal food is not ever that red. Weird looking and not in a good way. Tried the stout and found it too sweet for my liking. Overall… YEEESH!

Can’t give it a horrible rating but it can’t get a great one. I had ordered the IPA that they brew. I prefer more hops and more bitterness. Had a poutine as well. Not bad for the second one I’ve ever had. Service was good and helpful. Went for new years and want to busy to server a large group. Wish they had more than their own beer.

Sorry to say but this place was very disappointing. Went here with a group for lunch shortly before the holidays so it wasn’t very busy, but for whatever reason the service was lacking. The food was also a pass. Around the table we had a couple of burgers, the flatbread pizza thing, a Rueben sandwich, poutine and a salad. Best to stick with the burgers, everything else was bland as bland can be. Won’t be back.

Gord and I had supper this evening at 3 Brewers … they just opened this location a couple months ago. I worked in that building a few years ago and at that time this space was a business bookstore. They brew beer onsite. I ordered mild chicken wings. They were delicious and I’d order them again. The wings were all drumettes and HUGE Gord ordered a Mac &Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Caesar salad. He said it was good and he’d order it again. Devon was our server and she took good care of us.
