Miz Shaaz

Miz Shaaz has been my stylist for many years and I trust her completely.
She always takes the time at the beginning of the appointment to find out what I want and if I am undecided or tossing around a new idea, she never pushes me in one direction or another, but she truly listens and tries to understand what I am looking for and to help me reach that decision. She has a very natural knack for choosing the right colour and shade to complement my skin tone (even with the many different colours I have tried over the years) and she has NEVER gone ‘kamikaze’ on me by pretending to listen to what I want and then cutting my hair in a way she feels is best (which is an experience I have had with other stylists in the past.) When she does my hair, I am always confident that she will help me to walk out looking great.
I have recommended her to many of my friends and I will continue to do so as she is A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G.

The owner of Miz Shaaz has been cutting my hair regularly for almost 10 years now. Before that I tried other significantly pricier salons in the area, but stayed with Sharon because her cuts were consistently good, she factored in my lifestyle and personal style, and listened to my feedback.
Sharon knows how to work with all types of hair and over the years I’ve sent many of my friends (male and female, of all different ethnicities) to her and they’ve left happy (and return) customers.
Aside from regular hair services Sharon has a real talent for up-​dos for special occasions (she actually teaches this subject at a local beauty school). She did hair both myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding and everyone looked beautiful.
The salon is a little tricky to find (she has a chair inside the Lid Lounge) and the hours are limited to Thu-​Sat as Sharon teaches the remainder of the week. But if you’re looking for a great cut, colour and/​or style I highly recommend a visit to Miz Shaaz.
