Moderation Suit

Really good experience so far. I discovered them when IM Label closed and sent me a coupon for $ 100 off a suit here. The coupon expired but I was told it would be honored before I even had a chance to ask. The service so far has been great and they’re trying really hard to please.
I went in to try the suit on last week and it was so great. The jacket fit so well, I was very impressed. The pants were fine but I expected them to be slimmer, maybe a personal choice but I was told they would make the changes no problem and I’m just waiting for the alterations now. Other than the slimness of the pant leg, everything else actually fit really well.
I got my jacket unlined and it looks really good. I was worried it might look weird but they did such a professional job that I think it looks better than if it were lined and now it’s also a little cooler to wear.
Overall this looks like a great place to pick up a suit!

Just wanted to give a thumbs up to Moderation Suit. I do not wear suits normally and last time I bought one was OTR almost a decade ago. It was an ok 3 button dark navy. Old style and decided it was time to update. I proceeded to set an appointment for Moderation. They have downtown TO and Mississauga location which was convenient for me. I also liked that it was made in Korea. Set up consultation with Kevin, part owner of Moderation. Spent a good 2hrs for consultation/​fittings/​choosing designs. There were many options available and if it wasn’t for being time constrained, I could have spent more hrs choosing. Decided on suit and custom shirt and placed order on Jun 8, just over $ 1k with tax for it all. Was done/​ready for final fitting on Jul 7; 4 weeks not too shabby. Final fitting was with Jonah and Steve, 2 other part owners, and it went smooth and I loved my selection. Was given option to shorten the sleeves to show more of wrist collars with later return alteration if I so choose. However my initial consultation with Kevin proved it to be a good length. I’ll try it for a few dressings before I decide to do so but right now it seems great length where it is. Overall experience with Moderation Suit is excellent and of the 3 people I dealt with, Kevin/​Jonah/​Steve, everything was perfect. Of course I don’t have any prior MTM tailor experience but as a rookie at this, I have no regrets and its money well spent.

I was looking for a suit for my sister’s wedding and I was recommended to this place. They specialize in making custom suits and the custom suit I got fit really great. They were very knowledgeable offering a wide variety of options based on my preference. They were very meticulous when it came to my measurements making sure they get it right the first time and also making alterations when the suit had come in. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends. They have a great selection, competitive pricing, friendly staff, and they are willing to go the extra mile.
