Hands down best karate school in the city. Read up on it if you don’t believe me because first you must fill your head with knowledge, before you can break bricks with it.

Hanshi’s quest series’ are not to be missed! Looking forward to the next one! Also, loving Kyoshi’s noon class on Fridays. So great to get an hour away from work and return surging with endorphans!

My son went here for about a year. Some of the teachers were really awesome, but we found there wasn’t a lot of true discipline — other kids got tested to move up to the next belt level, but he was never offered the opportunity and none of the instructors ever approached us about what we could do to help him get ready for testing. A friend of ours took their son for a while as well, and when they decided to quit, found the hard-sell to continue bordered on harrassment(calling non-stop, including calling the uncle listed as the kid’s «in case of emergency» contact to push the hard sell on him as well). The final straw was when our kid got bullied — and I could tell from the instructors’ reactions that the bully had caused trouble before — but the bully still got rewarded with stripes and getting to move up, contrary to their stated policies. For a place that advertises its«Bully Proof» program, it seemed massively hypocritical.
