I go in here rather regularly(unfortunately) because I have two daughters and someone always needs a birthday present(although Echoage is conveniently taking care of that situation more and more these days) or a new Calico Critter. Staff is helpful. Free giftwrapping is a plus and is fast. They have a good selection, although it’s definitely not Toys r Us(thank god) — less mainstream stuff. A good price range although pricier than some other toy shops, it does the trick. It also has wildly expensive clothes for those of you whose kids don’t poop or pee or barf or drop food all over their clothes(I’d like to hear your secret), and a nice selection of books for kids of all ages.

I shop here for my daughter and for gifts on a regular basis. Because of the location it is a bit on the pricier end but the selection is great. There is a little bit of everything for everyone and they wrap for you. In the dozens of times I have shopped there I get great service(that is important to me) and there is always something new!

You don’t have to be a kid to shop here! At first glance you may see baby clothes and stuffed animals, but … adults can appreciate this establishment as well. As today was a sunny day, I decided to take a stroll around my workplace during lunch break. Oink-Oink has the coolest and cutest things ranging from those feather pens that Cher used in ‘Clueless’ to endless Hello Kitty goods. The kid in me was in paradise. Towards the front of the store, there is an assortment of headbands from $ 25. I received so many compliments on the headband from coworkers, unbeknown to them that it was from a shop catered to kiddies. Every girl should check this place out… you’ll find something that you like. Accessibility to Oink-Oink may be a pain in the derrière as there is no free parking. The closest subway station would be Eglinton and you’ll have to take a westbound bus. Yay! I’m a fan.
