I came here for the first time today with my girlfriend for a mani-​pedi session. Despite living in City Place, I never knew there was a nail salon down at Queens Quay until I walked passed it this morning when dropping off my dog for her grooming appointment at Cosmopawlitan. The service is the first thing I will comment on because the costumer service here is off the charts. I’ve been to many Vietnamese-​owned nail salons and this one here truly impressed me. The girls here joked and laughed with me and my girlfriend and unlike other Vietnamese-​owned salons, I really felt like they were actually paying attention to what they’re doing — getting my nails done right. The girl I had also did an exceptional job at doing my nails (sorry, I don’t know her name). She was really detail-​oriented and really took her time doing her job! She made sure everything was perfect before she let me go. My mani-​pedi was $ 40 (with an additional $ 5 charge because I had shellac on previously) and I was given a 10% discount! Very good price for a job well done + awesome customer service! This will for sure be my new go-​to place when I need mani-​pedi sessions!

Really, really wanted to love this place.
The pedicure I had was fine. I also had a previous nail polish taken off of my nails, so the total came to $ 35. The employee doing my nails quizzed me on how I found the spot, and I admitted I had read reviews online. I asked why they didn’t have a website; she said it takes too much time (fair enough). I suggested posting even an image of a price list online as I know that’s important. So, for reference, I paid $ 35 for a spa pedi & shellac removal (paid in cash).
They were accommodating in allowing me to start early. I chose my polish and sat down. They use OPI and Essie. The location itself was very clean. They were playing the loop of the gag videos (why is this a thing?!). I was asked if I wanted a razor (yes, please). After I told the staff member that I am active, she proceeded to tell me multiple times that I «cannot» wear running shoes that evening. I’ve never had a salon flat out tell me to just not wear shoes, ever. I get that it can scuff, but a properly applied basic pedicure should stick — especially if using quality nailpolish like OPI! On a positive note, everything appeared sanitary.
Otherwise, the employee was a bit aggressive in trying to upsell me to other things. I’m old school in that part of the experience is feeling relaxed, and I felt on edge. Plus, the constant «no shoes» comments bothered me. Luckily it was warm out and I could walk home in sandals.

I have been coming to this location to get my nails done for years. I was initially disappointed to learn that ownership had changed, but as it turns out, I like the spa even better now! The staff do SUCH a good job; I never feel as though my manicures/​pedicures are rushed. And, even though I am only there about once a month, they remember not only me but the colours I’ve gotten on previous visits! I usually go to Helen, Ben or Theresa… all are great!
I definitely recommend calling ahead, especially on weekends… this place can get pretty busy!

This is my new go to place. Great environment, clean, amazing service and perfectly polished nails every time.
Really friendly and expert staff who genuinely care about doing a perfect job with high quality products.
Recommend the paraffin pedi treatment as a nice treat. Also nice to have a Starbucks next door to get your latte to sip during your service.
I’ve been getting my nails done in Toronto at dozens of salons for the last 10+ years and this is among the very best — including higher end spas.
They do take drop ins but call ahead to make an appointment to avoid disappointment as they get busy during peak times.

Best nail salon ever plays the best rap and r&b pretty loudly it’s fun! There’s a charging station for your phone. Massage chairs are nice and it’s very cute inside with lots of colour selection for Essie and opi and free wifi!

This place is great! The new owners are fabulous and the staff is very friendly. The colour selection is good and there is no extra charge for Vinylux. I recommend giving this salon a try.

Decided to try this place solely based on how it looked inside. Was doubtful at first because it wasn’t too busy. So glad I did!
The first thing that caught my attention was the cleanliness, then the selection of organic lotions and potions.
I had a pedicure and shellac mani. I’ve literally been getting mani pedi’a every two weeks (give or take) since I was 14. This was on par with any of the high end spas in the city. Jen really took her time, and did a very very good job.
Staff were all nice.
This is my go to place from now on!!!

This nail spa providing me with the best services i would recommend all people to try this new spa out the old one was princess nail and it wasnt quite satisfied until i heard about the new management this nail spa is the best
