My experience at RiverdaleMac last week could not have been improved upon. I got exactly the help I needed, felt zero pressure to purchase, and then was given guidance around transferring files that saved me so many headaches. The shop is quaint and the stock is carefully curated so it’s easy to find whatever technological solution required, and it’s likely to be elegant too.

I have made emergency visits to these folks for mac accessories when I am visiting Toronto and always have a great experience.
They don’t have a lot of stock but what they do have is carefully chosen and reasonably priced. For example, I needed a cable for my iPad because my OEM cable had frayed. They stocked the OEM cable but recommended a better-quality re-enforced cable that they stocked as an alternative that wasn’t subject to the fraying problem and was cheaper as well.
This place is much more laid back than the Apple Store and the folks here are just as informed. I will consider them when it is time to replace my MacBook.

I live near to Riverdale Mac, so I’ve used their shop for repairs and advice. I’ve always been able to resolve my Mac issues with their help, thus sparing me the agony of taking to customer support on the phone. The staff at Riverdale Mac are friendly and provide excellent customer service. And the shop itself is quaint when compared to bigger Apple stores such as the one in the Eaton Centre.
