I travel from Buffalo to Toronto regularly to learn from all the amazing martial artists at Salvosa BJJ. There are plenty of black belt instructors closer to me, but the amazing energy, passion and skill found at this academy is unparalleled. It’s not only the head instructor, but literally every single member here who is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable that makes my 2+ hour trip well worthwhile.
I first visited as a white belt, knowing literally NOTHING about Jiu-​Jitsu. The kindness and welcome I was shown by the other students let me know that this was a great place to be. I was taken in and shown how to use Jiu-​Jitsu to make me a better athlete, and most importantly a better person. There is a huge value on respect, friendship, and integrity.
If you want to learn martial arts, and better yourself as a human being, this academy is for you!
