I don’t know anything about cigars. I was in Toronto for a conference and my brother wanted me to pick him up some Cubans. I searched Unilocal and found this place. Luckily the guy working there was friendly, patient and knowledgeable about all the cigars. I felt like an idiot when I told him I was looking for Cohibas and he showed me a wall full of different types of Cohibas. Anyway he helped me pick out a variety for my brother and packaged them up in little boxes. My brother smoked them and enjoyed them and the story has a happy ending. Thanks cigar guy!

Pretty big space and nice sized Humidor Not really walk in. Prices are bit high and on the last visit they didn’t even have the machine working that would accept interac! Selection is ok with all the major labels from Cuba covered well and some other brands thrown in for good measure. The owner was helpful and seemed knowledgeable. For the area I think there prices are high.

Killing some time before meeting up a friend who lived in Toronto we came by here to pick up a few Cuban Cigars for us Americans to bring home and to share among friends. Service here was friendly and knowledgeable and the place just had all the right smells. In the humidor room where the keep all the cigars of various nationalities were arranged neatly. I was looking for some real Cuban Cohibas not the Dominican kind back home but they were priced higher than I expected. I settled for some other fine brands like Romeo Y Julietta and Punch.

I don’t know about this Café business, The store only says «TABAC» outside and they have nothing to do with café’s. They are a tobacconist through and through. A huge selection of every tobacco product under the sun (minus dutch cigars, they even have Italian cigars. give me a fucking break). The Owner and his helper are very nice and knowledgeable, The walk in humidor at the back of the store has a great selection with brands from all over the world. A great place with a big selection and a nice downtown location make this my usual place to buy cigars when I’m downtown.
Fun fact: The Owner of Tabac and the Owner of Red Smoke are Brothers.
