Anyone thinking of shopping here should take the advice of a contemporary designer, such as myself lol: DON’T DOIT. Before one does anything especially when shelling out funds that this store commands they should do their research. Question anyone in the florist business within Toronto and they will tell you of the horrible, racist, Hitler-like attitude you will encounter when dealing with Teatro Verde and their owners, Shawn and Michael. There is not one positive word that has to be said about this store from anyone. I understand the concept of high-end and thus the attitude they display alas I have lived in London & other major capitals for years and sorry but the affluence here simply doesn’t compare, yet I have never been treated or subjugated to the level of insult that this store provided. Anyone considering shopping at this store who isn’t of complete Caucasian descent may want to shop elsewhere, and if you believe me to lie please do some research by asking someone in the florist industry about this store. Everybody talks about how horrible they are and I have borne witness. Last but not least the taste in this store is horrendous sure the things«look good» there is a difference between«looking good» and actually possessing vibrational substance. The vibrational essence, take this from someone extremely sensitive, of work here is poor and essentially just plain dated and old. Sorry you guys assume that you are the hottest store around town but the affluence you portray is mediocre at best and last but not least your attitude is anything but polished. I was frankly left disgusted at this store. None of the staff here possess any vibrational grace or courtesy, they«try» to but unfortunately they just look like actors. Ever watched an episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ — that is esentially how the staff here look whilst trying to appear high brow. Sorry Teatro Verde but just because you dress up those over-the-top and not to mention very old looking Christmas decorations at the Four Seasons frankly I feel suffocated just looking at them sometimes — you didn’t suspect did you? ;) — that you are a high-brow institution that deserves to treat folk like scum. Unfortunately for you your old ways are dying and your«art» simply looks like how do I put this lightly — like it belongs in an old-age home. I will give it this though — tres European lololol! ps was just having wine with some florists and one goes«you know one of the owners is Italian and who knows what he could do and I went hmmmm let’s see you try. Want lawyers? Will gladly get served, have them here to Manhattan, to Chicago to Milan mhmm. Want publicity? Got that and good ranking too. If you Google me, sad I have to stoop to this, you will see that I give credit where it’s due however your DISGUSTING attitude has led me to engage in leaving such an honest yet childlike review of your institution because your behaviour while an attempt at vibrational aesthetic was stupid and not to mention inauthentic. All I am asking is that you STOP, everyone in Toronto talks about how horrible you are. From now on please just keep your attitudes up and treat everyone how they should be treated as — your equals because they are! Your«art» to me looks old and common it’s opinion nothing perssonal you cannot please everyone but you are a business and this is my opinion which happens to be shared by others as well so just STOP and get better please if you want to appeal to the segment you are attempting to appeal to. Let this be a good lesson from Mommy because if would like to bring out the videocameras I can show you!

Be prepared to stay longer than you thought. This store is one of the most interesting in Yorkville. From cool to upscale and everything between.

So disappointing!!! I am used to receiving gorgeous flowers from Teatro Verde every year from my daughter but this year it was the worst quality flowers ever!!! I sent them three pictures to show the brown roses that I had just received and did not even get an email back from them!!! They couldn’t care less… they had my daughter’s money and couldn’t care less that they had a customer that was very disappointed. The pictures showed the poor quality of the flowers and they were brown by the time I received them. I can’t imagine how much she paid but it was like cheap internet roses that you purchase for $ 9.99 per dozen!!!

A bit dear for this poor Unilocaler, Teatro Verde is a repository for all tastes Lucullan. Need a Chinoiserie vase? It’s only $ 750. Or you could pick up the latest issue of Visionaire for only $ 468. Yes it’s expensive but still a worthwhile inclusion in your gifting safari. This two-storey store is the former Mount Sinai hospital. It originally cost $ 12,000 to build in 1922, but today you could flit through that on a couple of Swarovski bookends($ 2,900) and an antique spoon chandelier($ 4,900). OK, OK, I’ll stop. It’s a beautiful space and filled with all kinds of giftables ranging from home décor, beauty, books, art, and their specialty, elegant bouquets and flowers. Not everything here is priced to murder your wallet. You can find some nifty finds around the $ 50 mark, and you’ll never tire or looking at their amazing selections. This is the place to shop for someone who has everything. Obligatory Title Pun: Better bring the GREEN. Menu Readability: I usually don’t like mixed case type — particularly when small caps are involved — and their wordmark is no exception. Need to mention: No refunds or exchanges. What this place teaches me about myself: I am the 99%.

The Plain and boring façade of Teatro Verde is really deceiving. I walked by it dozen time without going in as I never realize what I been missing… Since Teatro Verde’s building used to be Mount Sinai Hospital, I love how they leave the outside of the building the way it was. They also does a great job in having the area divided into little sections, each have a theme or a colour scheme. This make it easy if you looking for something specific… The atmosphere is kind of museum like and quite classy. I can get a gift for almost anyone I know from here… talking about selections. And it is always fun to browse around to admire their goods on display as they changes with the season and festivities!

How have i not stumbled upon this heaven until a week ago? I must have been drugged. I thought it was just a garden store for people with… huge gardens. Little did i know it is chocked full of gift ideas, great furniture, gorgeous décor… Sure, it’s not cheap, but what a fun place to explore. Will be back to pick up a fragrance soon!

Thank you Mike at Teatro Verde! He totally saved my wedding day. We have a last minute crises on the florist one day before the wedding and Mike able to help us so I won’t be a bride without a bouquet. The bouquet and the tall decoration pieces on the ceremony were so beautiful and everyone love it!

Teatro Verde is the most expensive but also the best in Toronto. They do tons of over the top bouquets and have lots of neat bases, garden stuff and home ware that you can’t get anywhere else. I always recommend this joint to my guy friends when they want to get something for their lovers. I usually call over and ask for all white and green, $ 50 bouquet and it’s never short of amazing! They wrap their bouquets in plain plastic with a simple thick ribbon in their signature green. The flowers are rich and thick and rare and gorgeous and they last forever. If you want to go class, then go with these guys every time
