One evening we were looking around looking for Thai Paradise in the dark… and what we found was a not Thai restaurant anymore!

Another solid cast member in the amazingness that is Baldwin Village! It looks small and it is indeed narrow inside, but fear not because there is an upstairs and they have ample room to host a large group of around 15(but I can’t be certain of that number). And a very cute and shady(aka away from the sun, not«shady» in a bad way!) patio for the summer. I’ve yet to see it filled to capacity and due to the closeness of everything downstairs the staff are right there to meet your requests. Take for instance the last time I was here and ordered their dinner special which for $ 15 consisted of a soup(substituted for an extra $ 1), main dish(*insert colour* curry chicken) and a delicious sweet ginger tea to finish off the meal, after each of my courses they would waste no time whisking away the empty bowl/plate to bring on the next item. Highly efficient and I don’t mean it was in a rushed manner either. Apart from their affordable set dinner options, their menu is varied and has a little for everyone(and by that I mean you vegetarians will have a great selection here as well). Most dishes are between the $ 11 and $ 15 mark, while I’ve yet to really be blown away by Thai food here in Toronto Thai Paradise comes very close to bringing me in to the Thai food heaven…(or should I say paradise?) Another thing I enjoy about Thai food: when they say spicy, they mean it!
