This past Saturday night was my second time at The Den. My first was for their Sunday brunch in November. Which was a totally different vibe and feel, in respect to the Saturday. Both visits were great. It really gave a true perspective of how versatile this space really can be. They completely transformed the room by removing furniture, adding different pieces of furniture, changing the arrangement of that furniture. That along with lighting, gave the room a completely different feel. On the Saturday, the DJ booth was on the stage that they have, and for the brunch they had it place on the floor under this big«ENTERTAINMENT» sign that they have. The overall look and ambience of the place is amazing, has a cozy, warm feel to it. They did absolute wonders renovating the space. I saw the first floor of 423 College last, during the World Cup of 2014. Looks so much better now. In terms of the food, it’s a tapas style restaurant, so we tried a few different things on the menu. Had the Beer battered prawn… wow it’s was to die for… was so good… so moist, with a great mixture of toppings and a really good sauce. Not sure what it was. Had their spicy njuda which is a sausage patty slider, it too was very tasty. Their fries that comes with a Siracha ranch dipping sauce are incredible… I almost wanted to get a second order lol. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Great overall attitude amongst them. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Nice vibe, dope setting. Had the Beer battered prawn sandwich, we petty good if you like shrimp. B Oracabessa jerk sandwich was overwhelming it’s a big pork chop on bread. Didn’t like it at all. Spicy Nduja burger was awesome. John Bonham drumsticks were great we had 2 orders. Chicken and lamb skewers were awesome and siracha fries. Place is pretty quiet, wasn’t too packed on a Saturday night. Service was good and food came out at a good time it wasn’t a long wait. Overall ambiance place has a great vibe. The food I would say is a mixture of Indian, American, and carribean influence. The donuts are fire, get both Nutella and strawberry comes in orders of 3.
