This little piggy went shopping… and really liked this baby shop in Parkdale.
This Little Piggy, or TLP as the cool kids call it, is an adorable local baby store. It is crammed with all-​things-​baby, so don’t be deceived by the store’s small size, you will be in here looking for a long while. Clothes, diaper bags, toys, baby gadgets and more from floor to ceiling.
I will definitely be back for some of their zip up swaddle thingies and am pretty into their clip on high chair mabob (highly technical terms).

Great place and great service, came here to pick up baby shower gift and got lots of advice on practical things to get AND stayed within the budget. Highly recommended !

I love this shop. Kat (who i dealt with more) and Faye are actual real moms who are a wealth of knowledge. No bullshit, no over-​selling, no schmoopy garbage. Just real moms who have been there, done that, and now stock their shop with what actually works.
These two made my partner and I feel at home from the moment we walked into their store. They communicated constantly, and did a number of at-​home drop-​offs (in downtown Toronto) for things that were purchased for us off of our gift registry.
Everyone — even my mom’s elderly friends — were delighted by both the online and in-​person and on-​the-​phone shopping experience. And my mom’s friends don’t like the new-​fangled technology us kids are using, so this is a big deal.
Kat, thank you so much for taking such great care of us as we lead up to the birth of our first. We love you two to bits, and we’ll be back lots!

Full disclosure: one of the owners is a friend of mine. Also, I ate two Glory Hole doughnuts at the store opening. (Since we’re sharing.)
That aside, this shop is genius: attractive, well priced baby goods with a focus on natural products and unique designs. The owners, Kat and Faye, really know the products they’re selling and will gladly explain the benefits of each – it’s lovely that everything in the shop has been so carefully chosen. The shop is laid out for easy browsing, with a window seat to lay your coat down if you want to sit for a while and chat or nurse. It’s a very kid-​friendly space with lots of interesting things for little ones of almost any age.
