In the back of beyond, surrounded by cavernous industrial warehouses, is this gem of a storage and U-Haul rental facility.
I rented a truck from here and the staff was absolutely great during the entire course of my interactions with them. They were cheerful and efficient even on an early Saturday morning. I’d heard horror stories of other places overbooking U-Haul trucks, but none of that funny business here. My reservation was honored.
Even though the tank wasn’t completely full when I returned the truck, seeing how tired I was, the staff were happy to look the other way and did not charge ridiculous fees as stated in the contract.
Other companies can learn a thing or two about customer service from Yorkdale Self Storage. Hudson’s Bay, I am looking at you.
