Inglis Street had a major overhaul a number of years ago to make it more pedestrian friendly. The coffee shop helps to extend your visit along this street. Rustic atmosphere with a wide array of coffee drinks, tea, desserts & sandwiches. As of this review a large cup of organic joe was 2 $ Antique furniture make up the décor and staff have been friendly when I stopped by. For those those used to driving by Truro, give this spot a try. It may seem out of the way, but worth the stop. Stop by after a nice hike at Victoria Park.

A quaint atmosphere with vintage items packing the walls, and intimate seating. Fare includes soup, sandwiches, gourmet coffees and desserts, with daily specials ranging from spring rolls to quiche. All lovingly made the café owner herself. She’s a crackerjack full of energy and I love to chat with her any chance I get. But the true gem of the whole place? The SALADBAR. Staff will mix a salad in front of you at the bar based on the ingredients you select. The resulting mountain of leafy goodness is a meal unto itself. What’s so great about a salad you ask? Short of it jumping off the plate, massaging my back, and creating peace in the middle east, this is the most outstanding and consistent a salad can be. Salad and soda costs me around $ 7 but leaves me full as can be.(And I’m a 6’4 hollow-legged beast of a man. Hear me roar.) The place is packed at every lunch, and the line up is half way to the door. Staff learned my name on the first visit and greet me with it every time. They’re as friendly as can be, though I’d say they could smile a lot more. But then, that applies to all the customer service experiences I’ve ever had in Truro. Put it this way… if you and I met and we fell madly in mutual infatuation, I’d take you to the Olde Truro Café for our first date. And I wouldn’t even expect a kiss.
