First time in my life I walked in cold and left happy with the haircut I received. Definitely coming back.

Great barber shop, dropped in, they fit me in right away. I am stoked on the cut, the straight blade clean up is where it’s at! How a men’s cut should be done.

Finally, a place where I can go for my hot towel, straight razor shave, that feels comfortable. The barber who carried out my shave was Nick. He’s probably the first barber in all of Vancouver who I’ve visited for a shave, that was actually courteous, professional and friendly. Yes, this should be the norm, but you’d be surprised by the ‘douche-baggery’ that goes on in barber shops! They have done a great job with the space, played some great tunes, and they are reasonably priced. Finally a place where I can get a shave, time and time again!

This is an awesome barbershop, perhaps the best I’ve been to! I’m from Alberta originally, and go to school in Toronto, and I have been to Barber shops all across Canada and this may be my favourite yet. I was in the city and looking for a place to get a good haircut and I found this place online. It has only been open for a couple of weeks. The place looks fantastic inside, furnished with authentic refurbished 100 year old barber chairs, animal heads, wood furnishings, etc. It is set up in a prohibition era style, and even has a bar at the back that you can grab a drink at while you’re waiting for your cut! Although the bar wasn’t operational yet because they had only just opened. The head barber, Jake Hurn, did an amazing job on my hair. He hails from London, England, and his cutting style was unlike any I’ve experienced before(due to his european style education) and I have to say I loved it. He gave me a wicked fade, and used his scissors super well. I would definitely recommend checking this place out, I’m sure that business will take off here very soon. I know this will be the first place I come to when I’m back in Vancouver.
